Mechwarrior 3 intro was amazing. I replay that to myself everyone once in a while Im not crazy... xD But I was thinking, someone should make another epic intro based on Eve:Online dominion trailer. If you haven't seen it GO WATCH EET ! That would make a epic MW intro

MW2 was my favorite game series, but MW3 has the best intro hands down.

The only thing better then the MW3 intro is the landing sequence when the campaign starts:

I'd say MW3 as well, the mission briefings in that game were way better than any of the other MWs. Ghost Bear's Legacy had a pretty rad opening as well. Maddog on patrol, nothing happening... nothing happening... nothing happ-SUDDENLY KODIAK!!!!!

They did better trailers. I love the Casuality one, mainly because it's based on a real event.

I would have to go with Mechwarrior 3's intro as well as the best overall, MWO's intro was pretty good until harmony gold started t-bagging it.

MechCommander is probably my favorite. Out of MechWarrior games proper, MW3.

Its immersion through the intro, sounds, briefings and radio chatter was through the roof.

Too bad it was totally wrecked by MFB mechanics in turn.

MW2 intro is simply classic all around.
MW2 Mercs intro is gritty - gotta love it
MW2 GBL is my favorite - period.
MW3 intro is undeniably #1
MW4 Veng intro trys to compete and fails - too much Clan tech, too much stand there and take PPC shots
MW4 BN intro is an advertisement
MW4 Mercs "wins" the inglorious 2nd place - it might have rocked the charts if it wasn't in game footage.
MechCommander intro gets major cudos for the dropships and aerospace fighters
MechCommander II is watching the news - and abreviated news at that
Mechwarrior Reboot video definately in the top 3 or 4
MWO reveal - cudos for the music
MWO Atlas atomospheric drop - the real #2

MW2 intro is classic, but also bad since whoever wrote the script didn't seem to have a speck of knowledge of BattleTech, and especially Clans . It's not even an opinion, it's just poor with no Clanspeak, just some generic chatter about "bandits".

Good thing GBL and further games rectified that issue.

Definitely MW3, a shame pirates moon didn't have any intro at it was prolly my favorite of any of the additions to any version.

mw2: for me personally, totally fail... mechs barely moving, trying to kill each other with peashooters .... never got me...
mw2: mercs... woohaaa, back in the day WHAT an intro... athmospheric, thrilling... overall great one
mw2: GBL ...well yea was better than the "basic" MW2 vid, but nothing in comparison with Mercs...
mw3: nice, but especially the clanmechs seemed to suffer from bolemia somehow^^ was okay, especially the troops around the city were cool...
mw4: well partially cool, gave an idea of what a MW movie could become, but i agree that the ingame footage broke the immersion a bit.

can´t remember the ones from black knight right now, and that means probably it wasn´t that good^^

MC is a fraggin great intro, i like all that "behind the scenes" stuff, the fear of the raven pilot when he says "sir, i don´t have jumpjets" while he´s been sent into a dead end... cool video...



oh yea: MW reboot: was kinda cool, especially: NO clanmechs anywhere ...yeehaa^^
MW:O ...i hoped there would be more such snippets that become one cool trailer at the end...
