Any leader have an idea of what the regional separation of players are? I'm looking to join a merc corp with players in at least the mountain, pacific, and /orcentral time zones so playing times are at least somewhat coordinatable. Being able to draw from the same batches of merc mates also helps with lance cohesion.

I've looked at several corps found on the wiki page and this one appears to be at least moderately active!

Greetings Madekatsu <S>

We've got a very heavy presence of members and players in the U.S./CN. and also U.K./E.U. as well. I don't have exact demographics but we've got over 50 pilots spread out amongst the Continental U.S., a good portion of which are spread out over the west, mountain, and central time zones, as well as a fair number in the eastern time zone as well.

We are quite active and are still expanding quickly. If you'd like to check us out further, here's a link to the Brigade HQ website.

http://www.deathshandbrigade.com

Hope that answers your questions and thank you for the interest in the Brigade.

<S> Good to know you and I'll hopefully see you dirtside.

-Colonel Andrew "Havoc" Davis

Tough sell if a unit's webpage that has 127 members is considered 'moderately' active. :P

Ha! You know after I wrote that I figured at least someone would read what I wrote in the incorrect light. No, when many corps currently lack websites and some others I investigated showed statistics such as; 2 currently online (2 guests 0 members), and several sub-boards are lacking new posts coinciding with the current month we're in, being "at least moderately active!" is a very positive thing!

I look forward to throwing my application in the ring very soon as time permits me to do so (incredibly busy this week and next). I just wanted someone to verify what I saw as being an active unit dedicated to the game and not just a placeholder ;) :P

I used to be a hardcore Battletech nerd, beginning with the TT and CCG, but a lack of players in those realms and the great decline of quality (IMO) after MW3 has caused me to simmer down some. MegaMek soothed my urges a little but it was a very visually crude game.. I'm really looking forward to what appears to br a great lineup of games (MW:O & MW:T). Therefore, for myself, joining a corp is like choosing an AA group. You really have to find the right people to keep you on the straight and narrow. Only I need people that will help fan the flames of my addiction! :P :D

We have many players who are doing MW4 and MegaMek until release. We also group up to play other games like League of Legends. Careful claiming yourself to be a battletech nerd. You might end up in a quiz off of battletech trivia with other members looking to challenge that title. :P

A few of us were actually playing Megamek just last night and we got some new recruits in that are big tabletop 'nerds' too as well as some just wanting to get into the lore a bit more. I will keep an eye out for your app Madekatsu!

<S> To all of our new members and to any and all potential recruits.

Feel free to check out the website and register if interested in joining. Once you complete the registration go to the main page and click on the Death's Hand Brigade atlas on the lower right hand side of the page, it will have the words "Apply Now" superimposed over it. Fill out the application, then head on over to the No Guts, No Galaxy teamspeak server and see if anyone is around. Get to know us while your application is pending. :)
The web address is as follows: http://www.deathshandbrigade.com

Looking forwards to getting to know all our new recruits and seeing who else is interested in being a part of the Brigade.

<S> See y'all dirtside in the mean time.
