3F version of Cicada has JJ's.
3M has an UAC/5, small pulse laser, and two mlas. Cut out the UAC/5 and small pulse laser, and you can put in an AC/10, extra ammo, CASE, and some equipment. Or you can cut out the UAC/5 and replace a laser with a PPC.
Heck technically you could pop two PPC's on it, but that just screams "glass cannon" and you would need DHS in order to operate, and your close range defense would be rather limited. Hit and run sniper though?

Given how it appears the MechLab will be set up and the Hardpoint like system they are using, putting a PPC (or 2) in for the AC sounds like it won't be possible... which is really too bad. Loved the old 3025 tech version with the PPC. It was like a Hussar with double the armor and more range. Great scout lance killer.

I don't think he meant putting a PPC in DIRECTLY for the AC, but if you drop everything you can put PPCs in for the torso mounted medium lasers. I need to do some tinkering, but I don't think you can get dual-PPCs on a 40-ton chassis.

Edit - It turns out you can, but without Endosteel or an XL engine, it'll be rather slow and horrendously under armored. Not worth it IMO, I'd rather keep standard everything, drop the speed to 118 kph, up the armor, arm it with a LL and 2 MLs with an extra heat sink or two.

Considering that the Cicada has a variant with both endo and an XL engine and ferro armor, umm.. yeah. Glass cannon with jumpjets WHEEEEEE.
But nah, I'll probably just go with endo+ferro+ standard engine + AC/10 + mlas, and do hit and run attacks. Probably. Or if I want to go sniper a standard AC/5 or dual AC/2 if they're supported, or perhaps eschew ballistics for a PPC and as many small lasers or mlas as will fit, plus DHS.


Not sure yet as I don't know how the hardpoint layout will be.

Don't know if someone brought this up already:
From the Artwork it looks like there is a bigger gun in the left torso.
There is a 3050 Upgrade in the Tabletop game, IIRC by House Marik, with an AC/5-Ultra.

Don't know if I want the Upgrade Modells alongside venerable 3025-Era Mechs, but could this represent the Mechwarrior-Version of the Tiers in World of Tanks: Start with old Mechs, upgrade to newer Tech, maybe even get to keep your Chassis?

What is the loadout of this mech in this game and can we change the weapons later. I guess ammo is going to cost something in this game so i would rather have all lasers with few of them in the arms that can flip to the rear. This would be great as a circle fighter. You would definately need to live the mantra "Speed is Life" with this and other fast mechs.
They could release some Unseen mechs, just style them different from the anime and name them diferently. Harmony Gold don't own copyright on every mecha in the universe, just the ones that were copied from Robotech and Dougram.

I found my starter mech =O. Gonna juice this thing up with as many medium lasers as I can fit, pump it full of heat sinks and go on suicidal, energy-spewing death rampages! Look for the guy spewing green lights into the air all willy' nilly! That'll probably be me XD.

Really? I didn't know battle armor were going to be in MWO! I personally would have been happier with a light mech such as the Zeus. Still a cool looking battlearmor though!
