I picked the atlas as the founder mech because the Cicada was not one of the options :P

Fun fact - since the Cicada's arms are empty boxes, containing neither weapons nor actuators, they are commonly used to house chickens. Hence the nickname "Chicken-boxes".

Im really glad the cic made it in. I suggested it in a general thread before, and I was hoping because it would be A: a new mech we haven't seen or used much of in past MW, and B: a medium mech that fits snugly into the gap that existed with all the mechs prior to its introduction. It's fast, medium, and well armed. perfect.

You are correct. Here in Texas, some call them dry flies because they are so noisy in dry weather.

for me the Cicada was one of the more useless mechs ever designed by Fasa,
why pay double or more for a mech that does the same job as a light mech does,
that has more weapons and more armor then the cicada.

If by 'funny walking' you mean humanoid, forward-bending legs, then no, it won't walk funny. It should be a chicken-walker, similar to the Timber Wolf, Catapult or Marauder.

Quite possibly the only little fast mech I enjoyed using. Yay. :)

Why is this story so riddled with spelling errors? Was it ever looked over by an editor?

It's pretty atrocious. I hope no one was paid to do it.
