I dont mind spending real cash for mechs or weapons or ammo, As long as those same things can be bought in game for reasoble C-bills. I mean dont make the good ones cost 100x the C-bills as other mechs so that people basically have to cash buy them. The only thing i think you should get with cash money that you cannot get in game are non mechanical things, decals, paintjobs...etc.

Now that I don't mind but as you say with the condition that it isn't some stupid amount of C-bills for said items/'Mechs.

By the way where's the list of the Mechs that are in so far? I just tuned in and don't know what's going on yet. I really hope all the base Mechs from from Technical Readout 3025/3039 make it in. ;)

I would reckon the Orion will be next for the heavy fraction, although I would prefer to see the Ostsol being implemented in the game.

If the assault fraction will be served, I could imagine that the Mauler will be next, although I would prefer to see a Cyclops being added to the list of MWO mechs, in order to introduce a command mech.

The Ost-Mechs are amongst the Unseen, despite having little-to-no resemblance to the source material (Zentradi BattlePod).

Personally, I'm hoping for either a Victor or a Cyclops. We have two big, lumbering Assault Mechs... having a relatively fast and scrappy Assault would be delightful (unless it's a Charger, please god not the Charger)

Probably a gundam. We haven't seen any mechs, in any weight class, that are made from gundanium alloy.

I do rather prefer the Flyingdebrinium. I'm just afraid that if they release the Devestator, we'll see few Atlasii on the battlefield. Most people go for Assault Mechs for their big guns, and the DVS is a big-gun-friendly Mech.

Current Mechs are as follows

Assault

Atlas - 100tons , Awesome - 80tons

Heavy

Catapult - 65tons, Dragon - 60tons,

Medium

Hunchback - 50tons, Centurion - 50tons, Cicada 40tons

Light

Jenner - 35tons, Raven - 35tons, Commando - 25tons.

Also for those of you arguing about the legal issues of Unseen/Reseen.

Reseen Mechs are legal.

I bet the next mechs will be Banshee (for the Assault class) and Quickdraw or JagerMech (for the Heavy).

They are all classics (come in the starter TT box) and have several variants, both tech level 1 and 2.

The Banshee would be a great rival to the Atlas, the Quickdraw would add a very mobile all-round heavy fighter ("into the fray" style) and the JagerMech would add a light autocannon platform (long range support).

I hoped for the Trebuchet, but we already have the Catapult, so I think they will wait to release it.

I don't think a Banshee could take out an Atlas (unless the Banshee pilot was very good and the Atlas pilot was a tard).
I would rather be in a Mackie.

We are not talking about the same Banshee. The original design is indeed crappy (unless for a good melee capability). I'm talking about the BNC-3M, the mech I would choose instead of a tech level 1 Atlas.

Not to mention the BNC-3S, which is excellent. Or, if you got tech, the BNC-5S, better than most IS stock Assault mechs (Atlas included).

Oh, I want a Banshee.

I wonder, should we expect jumping 'Mechs at each class at launch or not? Such assumption leaves an opportunity to see 'workhorses of the battlefield' class extended up to 4 'Mechs, I just wish it'd be the Vindicator. Jumping assault? My guess it could be Victor, because in 3049 Highlander is too rare and its massive production resumed only in 3057.

Nobody would argue that quite soon we'll see one heavy and one assault. I bet on Stalker to become Battlemech 11. Orion or Black Knight could complete first 'Mechs pack released with Open Beta, IMO.

Honestly, do you really believe if the Unseen / Reseen problem is not a matter for the PGI, then they won't put any of them into the light until now? Around one-quarter of the mech exits in 3049 are unseen, and the most popular ones are actually almost all unseen (just watch this topic, how many times we seen the Warhammer, Marauder and Rifleman names?). The popular ones of the problem free designs are very well put into the list, like the Raven, Jenner, Catapult, Centurion, Hunchback, Awesome or Atlas... Just a coincidence?

This design is only re-introduced in 3058...

But the design had existed since the Amaris Civil War. It was around in 3049.

Taken out of production after the end of the Amaris Civil War...

So in the past 270 years not a single one produced... (the Amaris civil war ended in 2780).

There are battlemechs that have survived that long. I said it mostly as a joke anyways.

You're all wasting you time. It's going to be the Marauder.

Because it's my birthday.

And that's how sh__ works.

In my brain.

When I'm asleep.

And maybe a little drunk.
