The Charger only gets to be awesome when you look at the 3025 Kurita and Liao variants that downgrade the speed to 64kph and add piles of weapons, and when you look at the 3050+ variants that use XL and light engines/MASC to to give it some real hitting power while maintaining speed.

The same is true of the Banshee: Downgraded engine and piles of weapons for the 3025 BNC-3S, and XL engines with the same piles of weapons while maintaining speed for the 3050+ BNC-5S, 6S, and 7S.

By the way, I vote Banshee S.

I think it will be a heavy next. I have 4 mechs i would like to see in the game. Orion, Ceaser, guillotine, champion. If it is a assault mech then my top 4 avb in 3049 would be victor, highlander, crockett (i won't use the drac name), Thug. Although i really want the pillager

Though I'd love to see a Banshee I think the lack of viable variants will prevent it to be included at launch. My guess would be the Stalker for the assault category and Grasshopper as heavy. I do not hope for a PP Thunderbolt (just saw it in the FM: Mercenraries Revised and didn't know if I should laugh or cry).

For heavies I'd like to see an Orion or Cataphract, although a long range plinker like the Jagermech might be nice. For the assaults I'd really like a maneuverable assault mech like the Victor or upgraded Charger. Of course if we were so lucky as to get the Unseen then Rifleman, Thunderbolt, Warhammer, Maruader, or Battlemaster.

Well, my guess for the third medium is Assassin, so i miss that one.

For heavy, i'm big fan of the Jagermech, but sorrowly it's won fit for the tonnage coverage. The Shootist fit well there, but it's a rare mech, if the PGI don't care about this tiny detail, i love to see those ******* in the third heavy slot.
If not, then the clear winner is the Orion.

In the assault line, i think the best choice perhaps the Cyclops, it's a very nice and usefull mech, but very close all-in-all to the Atlas. If we take a look, the current mech line try to get very different role type of mech's in the bucket. The it's come just right front of us the Highlander, he have Jump Jets!

The 3rd Medium was released today , the Cicada. Or did you mean your guess for the 3rd was the Assassin? (Edit: Gotcha! Misread that one)

Hunchback, Centurion, Cicada. We are up to 3 Lights, 3 Medium, 2 Heavy and 2 Assault. General consensus is the next released 'mech will be in the Heavy or Assault class.

There be no Warhammer, no Marauder, no Wasp, no Stinger, no Crusader, no Archer, no Rifleman, etc...

I love those too, but until an north american firm develop the game, there be no unseen mech's in the game.
