Ammo Crits/explosions Need To Be More Visable

i can never tell if i am crit'ing ammo or not... i dont want some extra damage or mechs going critical... i just want to visably see ammo explosions, and i think everyone in the vicinity should know too...

When I see an arm drop off from a shoulder hit, and a part plus smoke goes spiraling out in a few different directions, I take that as an ammo hit taking out the core right before the Mech drops from a kill shot.. Are you not seeing this..??
But I agree, a little bit more "fire/blast" of orange in the center of the explosion would make for nice eye candy..

I completely agree with you, OP.

Did they remove the ammo explosion sound FX they had? I used to hear it when I got ammo explosions, but I don't anymore. And yes, I KNOW I've had 1 or 2 ammo explosions in the last week or two.

Also, can we please make it visually obvious which of a mech's legs is destroyed? Right now the mech just starts walking real slow and both legs look gimpy. I'd like to see one completely turn to shreded metal and have the mech "walk" on it like it's nothing but a metal stick.

I would really want ammo explosions to be more flashy, make it clear that that legged Atlas packed all their ammo in the legs!

i have 6 tons of highly explosive lrm ammo complete with highly flammable propellant without CASE. smoke? flash? shatter? SOUND? explosion should erase anything from existence in 150m radius with parts of my mech flying everywhere and flash being visible from all poins of map!

hehe explosions are cool...i agree with OP...u can never have enough kabooms!
