Mechwarrior 3 (#2)

Operating system: Windows 7 home premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601)
System Manufacturer:SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD.
System model: QX311/QX411/QX412/QX511
BIOS: Pheonix SecureCore-Tiano NB Version 2.1 04HS
Processor: Intel® Core i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz (4CPUs), ~2.3GHz
The problem I got is that mechwarrior 3 does actually open but once in game, as soon as I set my mech in motion, the graphics seem to mess up as in, I'm going to be moving but the graphics are gonna remain still and i'll end up seeing like 20+ reticules and the mountains in the background are going to expand (I can't even explain it well how messed up it is -.-).
Idk if anyone understands my delema but anyways i've tried adding mech.exe to nvedia graphic options + my computer already runs at 60 hz refresh rate. If anyone's got a solution let me know plz...
P.S: I've also tried running the game in software instead of primary graphics, it works in the sense I dont get the graphic glitch, but I get the apc glitch and in O1 M2 the game kicks me out + if i go off a cliff my mech goes flying
I've already got patch 1.22 so if any1's got any solutions it would be swell (tho my hope-o-meter is at -9000 but i thought what the heck might as well see if any1 else is trying as hard to run this game as me)

Right click the .exe and click properties. You may also have to select "Disable Visual Themes".
This used to work for me to run it on Win XP.

Yes, there is a fix.
Someone on one of the MW community sites wrote a small patch to make the game work
http://www.mechwarri...opic.php?t=4948
You'll have to register/login, but once you do, download the file, extract the contents to your MW3 folder, run the executable, and you're done. You might have to install the 1.2 patch first.

System:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
Nvidia GTX 560 Ti
i5 2500K 3.3 GHz
16 GB Ram
I have added the .dll file and followed the instructions found here: http://www.mechwarri...=asc&highlight= regarding the graphics setup.
I am running it as Admin in 98/ME compatibility mode.
I have gotten past the bouncing APC issue, however on Campaign 2-4, 80% of the graphics are rainbow stripes (red/blue/green/black) and it crashes randomly. Sometimes i only get to the first "mech powerup detected" and other times i can disable/destroy the 2 Thors and the Owens.
If there are any other suggestions that would be great. The error file is under Spoiler.

Also, make sure the 1.2 patch is installed; the game will not run correctly with it out in my experience (and Windows warns as much).
If anyone's having trouble getting access to download the patch, I can probably share it somewhere; just let me know.

I'm not sure anyone ever released a patch to stop that I'll keep an eye out though.
