To be fair, vidman eventually raised a relevant point after threadpooping for a while. It is possible that a mod elevated from the community could concievably be more likely to be biased for their own clique.

Obviously in this case that's impossible, as Anders is a robot and thus incapable of human failings such as "bias" and "sneezing" (it's true!).

And if there weren't other moderators tied to specific groups, that would be a valid point.

So far we've seen impartiality from the other group-affiliated moderators, so I fail to see how this would be any different.

As far as I can tell community mods aren't chosen by popular vote. Interesting idea nonetheless.

Well if that's the case I think we've got enough c-bills within the Word of Lowtax to possibly afford to purchase Anders a set of kneepads

Oh dear, you have pierced my subtle ploy and revealed the core of my arguement. I am ashamed.

Your interpretation of hate speech is off there by a bit, I have no hatred of any goon player. It however is my own opinion on the matter agree or disagree everyone has that luxury. And dal couldn't have said it better, Also everyone knows its common for goons to back goons on forums more so when you have your 1500 or so members.

"I don't hate individuals who are X, but all X do Y."

Possibly not hate speech, but certainly prejudiced.

Candy is available in the front lobby, yep.

Unfortunately the lobby is located in Canada, so other than faxes or e-faxes it is not currently available for distribution.

X does X, and Y does Y on a regular basis over in here.

Maple Syrup does pour into the fax quite easily...

Dear Mechwarriors,

Let not the passing of yet another year distract you from the noble cause at hand. The maple syrup-fueled Andersbot marches on, ready to defend you and yours from tyranny and injustice, and to defend your right to articulate your internet opinion in an adult and vaguely coherent fashion.

A vote for Anders is a vote for peace, love, and freedom for manbirdkind.
