tho i thought i wouldnt see it in a MW game.. since the most of us should be in their mid 20 or even 30+ and know how to act mature.

i've felt like that and have mentioned such thoughts in a post or two but somepeople kindly talked me out of it or offer support and i've kinda dropped off my play time than in the first fortnight of open beta. i've proberbly been more active on forums than in game. i think alot of it has to come from the "you'd have to be there" moments. there was one post where someone felt seriously put out about a part of the game that was taken out and was stupidly making demands to put it back in. now what you'd expect were to recive why the game mechanic was taken out but instead a dev replied

NO!

now after that people scoffed at how an immense troll that dev was and that he offered no reasoning for saying that. now that's the kinda behavior you don't want from spoilt players, but a DEV!? that made me lose faith that the game was undercontrol and i felt like expressing that this isn't the kinda game i wanted to play, if this is how it was going to be handled. yes even the devs are cut throat and unrully as some players and i'm glad i got a reply to my post about the why's and soforth, something i expected from the dev with at least some PR skils. so in the end it's very easy to be counter productive provoked by poor behavior thank goodness someone had more sence to talk me round.

it's just too easy to fall off the rails so consider that not all the things we say we are 100% certain of. i'm sure the dev will be happy to put collisions back in when the game's ready for it.

We're a passionate community who LOVE the game and want to see the best for the game. Sure some people whine to influence, but overall it's about seeing the game that will be the BEST to date of this type.

This is an incredibly toxic community. The amount of nerd rage I see posted on a daily basis - and yes, I've probably been guilty of it myself - is staggering.

I am hoping that everyone can read this, objectively, and realize that the hate needs to stop. The griefing, the insults towards others that don't agree with you on any given subject, the hate between "premades" and "lone wolves..." It all needs to stop. Or at least let up a bit....I hope that each and every one of us can make whatever base effort we can to make this a better, friendlier, less argumentative, and more welcoming community.

We have no small amount of control over the success or failure of this franchise, and no small amount of responsibility to try and make this the best community we can make it. Discussing differences of opinion is fine; let's all try to be more constructive about [it]. Please?

Well said. Us, the core community, will make it or break it.

I hope we make it. I certainly don't want to have to endure another MPBT:3025 fiasco, and then wait another 10 years. I don't think I can last that long.

If you want to make a game for certain masses, you get these too, and their intellect on how should people communicate, not even understand that that one leg and may move separately upper body of one another, or that experienced MW players without cheats can target and kill better than WoW player?

Honestly I think there is not enough communication between PGI and the community. Everyone goes on the forums mad about something. If only PGI addressed the issues properly it would help.

Some people will always blame the one who finds and points out problems, instead of blaming the ones responsible.

There were several MILLIONS revenue just from founders, blown into a back then not even playable game. Just a few things they did:

• Then they went Open Beta with a medicore alpha version that is full of bugs that are carried over for months, even if thousands said it is NOT ready
  
• missing content. Lots of it. (Yes the game will constantly add, which is good, but they startet out with less then 1/4 of what was promised)
  
• empty promises (No 3rd ever -> Yes 3rd is coming - 4000 votes against > We think about when 3rd comes),
  
• no proper feedback and lots of unlogical replies (3rd person because it would be easier for newbies - well then how about a proper tutorial?)
  
• the unveiled tries to monetize everything, even with a broken game (which is actually not how F2P works)
  
• hiding behind the "open beta" nametag to shroud a try releasing a subpar product

You're absolutely right, we are the problem! We should all just pay more and more, trow money at PIG so they do not have to rethink their strategy while enjoing cocktails in their bahamas villa. I'm sure all will magically fix itself.

Some of us metioned those problems with constructive tries and suggestions month ago, some did predict a lot of the problems (no newbie catering at all e.g.) and it did lead to nothing. Those people are frustrated and tired, a large part of them are already gone elsewhere without caring anymore, waiting for the game to become better or finally die.

But hey, the irresponsible MWO patriotism (I'll not use fanbois this time) will for sure fix everything...
