I agree but here are the problems I am seeing..

1. A single person will not own a drop ship, how will they get there mechs to planet let alone planet side?
2. Do you want the balance of the planet depending on Pugs to go either way? I think there are a lot more Pugs than regulars. A planet might never get taken or it might get taken quickly.
3. Coordinated attacks... Pugs will go where they want. Attack whatever planet they want. Whatever city, (square to fight on) they want.

I just see a lot of issues with single player in a team game.

The reason most pugs groups that fail, fail. Is because no one takes command. press C key, click take command in the command map. Most of them are just waiting for some direction. Most pugs I am in at least two to three people will ask whats the plan.

I believe we are getting ahead of ourselves here. The current "Assault" game mode is not going to be the only game mode; the other game modes have been delayed for now (originally slated for late September/early October if I recall correctly). Additionally, community warfare is still a ways away while they work out the current game bugs.

he is house unit but that is not the question he asked, "If a Pug will not organize how will they do anything in planet capture?" that would fall under the later half of your copy and paste.

Does not matter you do not have to be a LW who refuses to join house guild or a merc corp you can also be a member of a house who wants the faction benefits without belonging to a guild/merc corp.

Granted the LW will be able to drop with any house just by queueing and also have the option of having a merc corp pay for their services which makes being a LW more versatile and more likely to find match to play in. But an independent faction player will get LP's and advance in rank for the extra c-bills and xp same as a guilded faction player. IMO the guilded faction player will have the advantage as his group will be more organized/coordinated with voice coms.

I can see this, I would like to know how or if there is any kind of transport for mechs. If its just clock the planet and you and your mechs are transported there no cost a lot of this will be a moot point. But like I said before if that is how it is he who has the most people will win and win quickly because once people start to get over whelmed they will leave.

Not a chance that it will be as detailed as that, not gonna happen. It will be a series of matches, pug or premade, that will determine the outcome. Go look up Multiplayer Battletech:3025 for the perfect example of how it will be done.

While I dream of the 3025 model (its indexed in my signature link) this might be quite unlikely. The devblog on CW definitely contradicts most of the 3025 model. Not to mention recent interviews.
