Before I bought a founder's package I played a commando in closed beta for awhile. I was often knocked over 3-4 times before I could even get off the drop zone. I still have an instinct to avoid bumping in to people, but it may be a bit surprising to all the newcomers who haven't seen collisions in this game yet. I officially prognosticate that the forums will be awash in "knockdowns are op" threads for at least two weeks after they come back.

I mostly played my Founders Jenner at that time, and it was so annoying.

Also I predict knock downs come back in a different form than that.

Uh, what kind of form do you mean? I can't think of any other way than how it was before...

Somehow, the game will not feel complete until I can knock over a commando, and then just curb stomp it with an Atlas until it is a pile of scrap metal on the ground.

And yes, I love the Commando, and would expect no different from my foes :D

Me? I want to be able to flying kick Atlai in the face, then dance on their torsos as allies rinse them up. Leverage is a *****, huh?
This is also why I highly anticipate the Highlander, I'll nickname it the "Bruce Lee".

I do find most of the time it's lights running into me whilst ducking, weaving and watching the enemy rather than where they are going, meanwhile I'm on a straight path at a fixed speed. And both mechs take damage, not just the light.

Having said that, this is one of the funniest threads I've seen in a long time.
