I would LOVE a reseen-esque Marauder, but sadly I don't think it will ever happen. I would be extremely happy to see see a Banshee though. Orange tinted sunglasses like cockpit and paint it red, and let it "Kick Reason to the Curb." (God I hope at least one person gets that reference.)

Ah the list let me see here, in no particular order: Wolfhound, Timber Wolf (Mad Cat), Pillager, Pack Hunter, Arctic Fox, Specter, Nova Cat, Cyclops, Caesar, Kit Fox (Uller), Black Lanner, Shadow Cat, Penetrator, Cestus, Rakshasa, Starslayer and Chameleon.

Actually the Chameleon and Crockett should be the trial 'Mechs as they were both standard training 'Mechs.

Some advantages of adding the Grand Dragon and Caesar would be they would barely require any remodeling of the standard Dragon and Cataphract. They could be implemented without slowing down development of more unique mechs at all, similarly to how Hero Mechs work currently.

I personally wasn't a fan of Russ's reasoning of why they didn't want to add the Orion. He said it was too similar to the Atlas. My issue with that is the Atlas's roll is basically top weight for class generalist assault. By his reasoning the centurion was a bad choice as it's a near top weight for class generalist medium.

Sadly, its extinct for 20 years, and we need TSM and either specialized AC munitions or RACs to make it viable, but a man can dream.

I agree. Even if the Orion was MC only i would give all my MC for the Orions. Especially when we are doing weight drops and u can't take another assault the Orion would take care of that.

Two really old and good looking (which for me means non-gundam looking) mechs....the Osprey (like a mini-marauder) and Champion would be my choice.

Perhaps a mercury just before the clan invasion just so the IS have something with "omni" hard points.

Waiting on Spider, playing the game intermittently, not fun enough to sit down and grind for something specific.

If the Spider is fun: Might spend some cash money to **** it out, or a month of premium for XP grind
If the Spider is bad: Give up until a group that can make decent video games gets the MW license.

Given the current light mech balance (why aren't you driving a Jenner?) I'm going with the latter, but atleast I'll have Living Legends and MW4.

King Crab...there's never been one in Mechwarrior video game...and I can imagine nothing more satisfying than tearing the limbs off of an Atlas with twin AC/20s shaped like crab pincers...

For "Possibly in the near future" - Cyclops. The definitive command 'Mech, -10-Z isn't anything to write home about...but I'd like to direct your attention to the CP-11-B. Yes, that carries dual-Gauss, in the torsos, as its standard config.

For "Possible but WAY down the road" - I've actually got two of these, one Heavy and on Assault

Cestus - Yeah, there's only 4 variants, but that's okay, because the Cestus is awesome. Cassandra Allard-Liao may not have gotten everything right, but she had great taste in 'Mechs.

Templar - Forget the frelling Fafnir, these are what you should have gotten in MW4: Mercs. Configs don't really matter too much, it is an Omni afterall, but those alternates are fantastic (Personally, I like the -C. LB-20X, 5 medium pulse, and jump jets = LOLtastic). Plus, it's got two possible hero configs, and both are quite good.
