Warhammer.

No other mech had such a perfect design of battle capability and realistic military design. The searchlight that could function in multiple modes and positioned with an over-the-shoulder missile launcher were perfect for shooting over terrain, while the dual cannon made a mech that clearly was a mobile weapon platform. With the cockpit tucked inside an armored frame and still a good-size viewport for the pilot, this mech was, to me, the battlemech in the game. Everything else (with the possible exception of the Rifleman) looked like designs that were either slapped together by junk dealers or by children with a graphics program (a certain absurdly chicken-legged Clan heavy mech comes to mind every time).

I can only hope that the devs can put out a redesign that both avoids the copyright issues and keeps the well-designed and rugged look of the original (the Warhammer IIC4 was my favorite Reseen redesign, much better than the clanky IS redesign).

Two of my three favorites may never show . They are the Marauder, Madcat/TimberWolf, and Behemoth/StoneRhino. But, I'm content with the Catapult-K2. So, I'm ok if they never show.

I'm waiting for the Vulture (Mad Dog), the Uller (Kit Fox), and the Zeus. I would have listed the Mad Cat (Timber Wolf), but I think that's pretty much a given.

It only has 1 variant, so it'll never get put in, but it would be a kickass mech to have.

There is a clan variant of a annihilator that has 4 gauss rifles and 1 PPC, there is also a joke but now clan hero canon annihilator known as the gauss Zilla with 5 gauss

Other than that for the innersphere there is the thunderhawk with 3 gauss rifles

I'm hoping the Highlander stacks up well when it comes out. I'll be first in line for one if it does

Realistically, I'm really looking forward to the Highlander and the Mad Cat, with a very dim hope for the Devastator.

Beyond what I can realistically expect though, I love the Mad Cat Mk II.

Out of what I really can expect though, I'm not sure if I'll end up preferring the Highlander or the Mad Cat as my favorite. I'll just have to wait and see.

And honestly the 4 gauss 1 ppc one would be stronger, more ammo and if its a clan er ppc it's the same damage as well as one less fragile gauss that can explode for 20 damage
