The Canadian Expeditionary Force is now recruiting experienced pilots to fill out our mech forces that will be engaging in Season 4 of the Proxis Metagame.
The Proxis Metagame is the closest thing that there is to MWO Community Warfare. The CEF has played all three major unit types, including faction, Mercenary and Pirate.
Season 4 will be beginning some time in February 2014. Proxis pilots much be able to drop with the 12 man practice team once per week, and practice with their lance, or 12 man unit, two other times per week. The minimum drop and practice time expected to be no less than three hours per week.

If you are interested please contact William McNab, NomadicCanuck, or send a message to Command.cefmwo@gmail.com.

The CEF is also looking for casual pilots who do not have the time, or regular schedules that will allow them to commit to a dedicated unit. If you are interested please check out our website at www.cefmwo.com, and feel free to apply for membership.

Good Luck and Good Hunting,
William McNab, Commander CEF.

Unit Registration:

As the time approaches for the formal formation of the MWO - CEF Mercenary Unit, we must ensure that we are in a place to purchase 12 Mercenary Review Board Tokens, and we have 12 members willing to form the initial group to register the unit. The pre-registration of the unit name: Canadian Expeditionary Force (Tag- CEF) has already been completed. Once the registration process is announced, it is expected that in order to form a registered unit we will have to form a 12 Person Group. Within that group there will have to be 12 MRB Tokens. If both of those criteria are met, the group leader (McNab) will be able to register the unit. Over the next week we will be looking for volunteers to step up for that initial group. It is expected that the volunteers will have sufficient resources to purchase a MRB Token. If there are more than 11 volunteers (11 plus McNab = 12) the selected 11 will be determined by random lottery draw. Alternates will also be selected. Once the group of 12 is selected, we will be asking them to purchase MRB tokens on the night of registration. At this time, no other members are expected to purchase tokens. There does not appear to be a need for any MRB tokens, past the original 12.
We, the MWO Officer Core, believe this is the fairest way to allow all members the opportunity to be part of the registering members.
Please note, at this time there is no known advantage to being one of the initial registering pilots. Each unit will have a membership maximum of 500 pilots.
Thank you for your dedication ongoing interest in the success of the Canadian Expeditionary Force.

The Canadian Expeditionary Force is still recruiting. The CEF has grown sufficiently large to have formed two brigades. The 1st Canadian Mechanized Brigade: This unit is designed for more competitive players, practice twice a week, with weekly league games.
Canadian Expeditionary Force Reserve: Social players, pug drops, and some CW.

THE CEF MOTTO CONTINUES TO BE: FUN AT ALL COSTS.

If this is for you please contact William McNab, or check out our web site at www.cefgaming.com, or catch us on Team Speak at TS3.cefgaming.com

Thanks.

The MCW drops last night were tons of fun!

You guys were BY FAR the most put together group we've faced off against. Thanks for keeping the schedule, being on time, being awesome sports, etc.

Added a number of you all to the friends list last night. Looking forward to more drop time with CEF in the future. Don't be strangers!

Great matches last night fellows, and even better sportsmanship.

Ransom's Corsairs are almost sorry to have stolen Taygeta from you... almost.
I have no idea why we wanted to possess the Cappellan March's Edgeward Operations Area headquarters... but i'm sure we can find some use for it.

Maybe it's just a really pretty world and we like how it looks through our jumpship's portholes.

Seriously, the RC holds nothing but respect for you all. We're up for scrimmages and friendly group drops any time. Who knows, maybe in the next tourney/challenge we'll even be allies.
