So a few people have been complaining about the erasing of paint jobs after paying good money for it. I understand PGI needs to make money and lore wise you cant take a paint job off a mech and put it to the side for later. One way I think PGI can still make money but people get a bit more value and a whole less frustration is that when you buy a paint job, particularly the premium 250 MC colours, allow 5 applications of the colour.

This lets mistakes/bad descisions be made up for, the painting of a few mechs when you dish out money rather than the one and I know my lance would end up spending a whole lot more on colours for their mechs. Painting the tertiary patterns become a whole lot more viable with this, rather than paying the same amount for a strip of paint. What do you think?

Or... have both options. Keep it as is and ad (for dbl the cost) the "Paint Bucket" that can do up to 4-5 mechs in said color. I can see this creating more sales and satisfying our desire to be able to paint multiple mechs in the same colors without spending WAY too much MC ... I like this idea actually..

Make CBills paintjob as one-time mod. Make MC's paintjob as shared equppable items. Problem solved.

Make customer service treat you with a little respect when you end up wasting MC on paint for a Founders mech due to a jittery User Interface for a start(yes I know you cannot paint them and no I didn't want to... response "too bad")...

From there, create colour packs that are unit and faction related.

Any plan has to take into account that paint schemes are going to be a money maker for PGI. If there isnt a recurring charge, they wont go for it. Thats why I like the idea of a "bucket". we can paint multiple mechs but, it still runs out and it will cost to "refill"...
