I am pretty sure ESRB does not rate online experiences at least that is what it says for every game that has a single player and multiplayer aspect

The in-universe aspect, such as mech designs, graphics, and NPC audio will be rated. What you hear over any built-in voice system or the chat screen is an entirely different matter. :D

dont know the rating but id say 10+ as far as what ive seen in the vids
its just robots shooting each other no dif then transformers
there isnt any gore or boobies and you dont see or hear people suffering or dieing.
i get that the mechs have a person in them but still visually what you get is machines destroying each other
of course the chatting might get adults only, but hey its the inets that can happen in hello kitty online LOL

Most definitely T. To get an M you need gratuitous amounts of blood and and other violence.

Quoted text in addition to a Teen/13+ Rating. I'm sure there will be a variety of Mercenary Corps/Clans/Organizations that range from family friendly and casual to competitive and extremely vulgar. (I'm a fan of the latter.)

Does it actually need a rating from ESRB. A voluntary submission busybody "we know best for your kids" organisation. As a parent and grandparent I know what I want my children to watch and play. None of my children have grown up violent or mentally distorted by any of the ERSB games supposedly rated 18+ that I have allowed them to play. One game I played went offline partly because the ESRB gave it an 18+ because of the 'religious' overtones in its gameplay. Ridiculous. MWO doesn't need this.

I agree, it is really really stupid but still it is in place x.x This and many other reasons, should make people weary of Hillary Clinton, she HAS tried to outright ban games with violence before many tiems >.>
