Fixed it. turns out if you have Mumble running in admin mode before running MWO the game generates this problem? i think it may be an issue with the muble overlay.

We have MWO on 4 machines in my house. Two HD6870's, one 7750 and one 5770. All have been playing MWO since open launch. Yesterday (after the last patch), the 5770 comes up with the CryEngine error about Unsupported Video Card. All others work fine. These are all updated on video drivers. None are Nvidia and none have Mumble.
I am a bit stumped on this one, but if I figure it out, I will let you know.

I get this same error occasionally as well with my GTX570. I'm running the latest drivers on Windows 8. Makes no sense to me as I play the game on fairly high settings at 60FPS @1900x1200 for hours without issue.
