I've been wrangling some pre-patch threads titled What to Expect http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__1535602 http://mwomercs.com/...__fromsearch__1 which have been quite popular, plus about five thousand tips, hints, and helpful links.

Give it a try. At the very least, you inspire others to do the same

A lifetime ago I was a video editor in L.A. and have worked in media production (My old business partner, Dan Zappin, went on to found Maker Studio). I've also recorded a few podcasts myself. To say they are a time sink of planning , organization, recording, editing and promoting is a gross understatement.
Cheers.

I know, it's an ambitious goal, but if we fall short, at least there is some sort of improvement

You certainly can, but I'd still need their address if they win. If they aren't comfortable with that, there isn't much I can do but say "they win."
NGNG has been helping the community for a long time, and the point of this exercise is to get others in the community involved, not just the same faces you're used to seeing

I understand a lot of people are frustrated with the game right now, but on the other hand visiting the forum is currently very frustrating as well.
It is getting old to see the same negative threads over and over again.
- How dare you put content and features into the game as long as there's still a single bug left?
- Where is the content? Where are the features?
- Dear PGI, let me tell you how to do your job, 'cause you're doing it wrong.
- etc.

Imagine if everyone started 1 post about what they enjoy about the game

Thank's Garth! I try to remind everyone that this is our community. How we treat each other and new members is up to us, and how pleasant the forums are is up to each member of this community, not PGI

Actually, that's an excellent idea. Having random "helpful tips" during the load screen can help new players get adjusted, especially for things like targeting, weapon grouping, and heat management.
