They will still be the bees knees for sniping weapons, but not something you'll want to use in a 270m engagement.

I thought the Gauss should have always been a glass cannon. Luckily, it doesn't have ammo that goes BOOM!

I don't know. Gauss has exploded for over 25 years but 10 "turns" took around 4-6 hours to play. So I will have to play a few matches to see how it feels.

It's going down to 3hp so it seems like a critical from a missle or ballistic will ruin your day. You'll still see them sniping, but if they're smart they won't be marching into combat anymore.

their fragile in everything but a K2 it seams. I can beat of both side torsos till they are red and th guy still had both gauss rifles intect so go figure. Might be that some mechs protect their weapons better.

Not going to fix or change anything, Gauss Catapults still have the most un-hittable side torsos in the world. If anything it makes gauss dragons/centurions even more worthless, and makes people not want to drop 3 gauss in the hero cataphract that's coming up (not like they'd want to do that anyway, thanks to torso/arm convergence issues)

Exactly, further if the R/L torso of a GC has gone anyway the XL will usaully kill it anyway. So expect the nerf to affect everything apart from Gaussapults.
