So will the introduction of ECM (as far as the rules have been explained) have any impact on your play?

I'll ditch self guided weapons entirely.
I dont have an ECM capable mech, and you definitely can't rely on having teammates either with it, or know how to use it in PUG games so i ditch everything that relies on someone else (that includes LRM's).
I'd expect further balancing on ECM in further patches over the next few weeks so I'm not going to buy a mech specifically for ECM when it'll probably be nerfed. Also wont be buying the Stalker yet in case it doesnt get nerfed

um, your poll presumes a lot of things and can't be answered completely...
so,
i already have and have been running a 3L with the ECM (and BAP & TAG) in place so i can get used to the config and weapons loadout. every mech i run post ECM intro will plan either to use direct fire or TAG (or both), even the ECM ones.

Gonna try a 100% support commando and see how it pans out. ECM, sensor range, AMS+several tons of ammo....
