Premise is straight forward. What is your drink of the night?

Just got home from a poker game. Started with Red Stripe, moved on to Jack and diet, finished with tequila sour.

I can't be the only unrepentant alcoholic here.

When drinking it's typically just straight Jack. I don't drink much beer, I prefer liquor. I thought about picking up that SA Cherry Wheat though, looks good and I've been told it's good. Another one I enjoyed is the SA Blackberry Witbier.

I don't know, anything with blackberries scares the crap out of me, friend handed me a wild blue when I was younger... disgusting does not begin to describe it... My gf always gives me **** for diluting jack, she drinks it straight, I mix mine lol... She also rides 250 2 stroke dirt bike, I ride a 450 4 stroke quad... My friends always tease me about her having bigger balls, in my defense I double her jumping distance :D

Are you not normally a scotch or whiskey person? There is a very very wide variety of scotch out there both in terms of price/quality and flavor.

I tried glenlivet. I love whiskey, but only mixed... I don't know personal taste, heritage, whatever. I'll drink vodka and tequila straight but not that lol

How about a "Mike's Hard Cream Soda" instead? I use only the best irish cream.

Fair enough, to each their own. I try to believe that every booze has its proper place and time,* and I try to be respectful of other people's tastes.

* Mind you sometimes the only proper place and time is "alcoholics trying to drink without getting caught" (Dr. McGillicudy) or "under age drinking when you don't know what real booze tastes like" (Mad Dog)

Tonight it was Bells White Winter Ale

I did really care for it. I usually like ales. Bells can be hit or miss for me, I do like their amber ale.
