I wouldn't mind 100 or 150px instead of the 40 or so we have now

Sigs mostly are e-peen pics that are just filling up the forums making reading the topics "harder".
At the moment the MWO forum sigs don't annoy me. Allowing the height to be bigger brings this problem to the forum. Be creative with the space that you got. S3dition's sig makes use of the width and JudgeDeathCZ has a high pic that uses half of the width. Why don't you shrink the size of the mech to 80px, place your text in the middle, place your faction logo on the right side and align that all to center?

I'm not trying to b*tch but does your sig really have to be like the one you posted?

It's not an image I'm concerned about. I have a number of things I want to bring attention to in my signature, and the "4 lines of code" thing is really irritating. It doesn't even open to the "expected" size, so it's impossible to tell if I have 1 line of code, 2 , 3, or 4. Maybe if it didn't have text wrapping for code?

I'd be fine with something like 100 x 600. I think that's pretty standard for sig sizes, and less strict limitation on the lines of code.

sig size is good as it is. There are still people out there with connections that get very slow when having to load to many or to big pictures - i know it, had this problem until 1 year ago. I was perfectly able to play, ping was ok for an MMO, but 64kbps sucks when looking at websites, especially forums full of huge sigs

signature size is fine.

most people don't want to read/see all those signatures with uninteresting clan/stat/website/information anyway, people want to read the topics and not someones signature :-)

I have a support ticket in, regarding the size of my .sig and how it seems to have mysteriously changed. I had three incomplete lines in my .sig (nowhere near the maximum of four lines). I attempted to replace one with another which was almost identical, making it no longer at all. The system gave me a "you are only allowed four lines" error. I took before and after screenshots and included them in my support request. The response I got was basically an "oh sh*t, you're right," with a promise to send it up the hill to be fixed.

It's been a while now. I haven't heard anything back since that initial response. OP, if you get your wish for more .sig space it would also solve my issue, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that they were already working on doing just what you're requesting.
