See, I had to do it, I had to start testing on the new colouring options. I figured I'd play with the free PC-gamer colours we got, because you know, they are free.

So, after fiddling with them for a while, I tried to switch back to the stock green colour on the mech.
Am I blind, did I miss a button somewhere here? Or is it just not possible to go back to that colour after saving the new ones? No way to reset back to the original?

I also noticed that since I've already altered the colours of the mech, which is a Cataphract, buying Phranken custom paintjob won't work.

Before, when I was at stock green colour, if I applied Phranken on the mech, the price would have been 750mc and I would have gotten a cool, custom paintjob with three distinct tones.

Now, if I apply it, the three unique paints aren't applied, only the basis is. To get the same result of the Phranken now, I would have to pay 1125 MC. 750 for the basis and 125mc for each separate colour.

Working as intended, or did I really miss out on something here?

no, it is not possible to go back.

If you read the pop-ups that appear when you saved your changes, it quite clearly says the action is not reversable.

Paints and patterns are pay-per-spray; if you change it you need to pay again to change it back (permanently costing your MC or CB for each change)

So the stock green is unreachable, can't even be bought after you've dumped it? Seems a little silly to me. I think you should always be able to go back to the stock colour.
Especially since otherwise you're suddenly forced to pay over-price for custom paintjobs, such as the example with the Phranken I just mentioned?
I'd understand if you could go back to stock and then apply custom paintjob for the base price, rather than being forced to pay for the separate colours if you have already altered your colours before.

I mean, am I alone with this?

I think the green included in the Basic colour pallete (Basic colours cost C-bills instead of MC) is the same green. But it will cost you about a million CB to paint all three colour sections olive green.

Everyone hates the pay-per-spray system.

Yes, the stock green is the Basic green.

Pretty sure that will result in you being the default pattern but with the previously selected custom colours applied, not stock colours. And you have to then pay for each colour application you wish to change

Maybe it's because the Hunchie doesn't allow custom colors on default pattern yet, but it switched me back to default color as well.

Is it? I wasn't sure, looked slightly lighter tone.

Alright, so I can go back by paying for it a million c-bills. I suppose that's.. nice.

Question is, is the Phranken paintjob forever screwed for me now, forcing me to pay 1125mc from now on, instead of the 750 I could have originally gotten it for?

The Hunchie does not have a 'paintable' default colour. Yet. When it does, then when you switch to default, it will not set the colours to default, only the pattern.
