Hopefully this is the right thread to post this in: I am pretty sure your marketing is NOT optimized...
I truly believe that you are chasing away many potential customers because MCs, no matter what you use them for (or if you prefer: almost all Christmas items, camo specs and the new hero mech) are WAY too expensive...
Are you sure you got your target groups right? Who has the money and is crazy enough to spend that much??? Not your average gamer.
If you would be less expensive, than your financial success would soar because it is TURNOVER you want, not expensive items or MCs few can afford.
Apart from all that: I love your game and have always regretted that I did not pay up for all Founders mechs. Please take the expensiveness-critics not as game critics!
Respectfully yours
Floh

Colours ideally would be fixed, and on off alternates.

Not buying anything, including premium time (which is fairly priced btw), until micro-transactions start being micro.

Christmas is not celebrated in 3049, and the bobble heads are obviously lost tech. Plus with the inflation rate between then and now, it's only right that 7$ buys you something that costs 2$ now.
In all honesty, I wonder what their monetization specialist is smoking, because It must be really good.

But for every christmas decoration you buy, one dev can give his child one present!
Will no one think of the children?

More serious. Nope. The prices are ridiculous, as they have been so far for everything in their shop. The only think that I might find reasonable is their Premium Time, everything else... meh.
I thought Startrek Online was expensive in its item shop. But now they seem extremely reasonable and fair. Heck, in fact for Christmas, you got visit a Winder Wonderland with mini-games and gift packs that contained fluff stuff at no cost - and special gift boxes that were money-grabbing trickery to get game-power, which I hated.

The difference is that you pay a monthly fee. period. a pet is for bitchy kids and those with big wallets.
the monthly fee is there bread and butter.
MWO depends on the nickel and dime to make the money that is the difference there is no guaranteed income in thisF2P industry so the business model is push out a bunch of junk dirt cheap and let the players pick it. Look at things like dungeon fighters online (or whatever) all they make is hand over fist and they do it by selling hair color for $0.50... That is the ideal, that is the economic model.

Cool Factor: Success
Pricing: FAIL
Quantity: FAIL
While there are ALWAYS people with more money than *insert common comparison* most everyone I have spoken to have said that these prices are ridiculous.

It's more like a xmas SCROOGE!
I actually wish that I never even bought a founders pack now.
I know PGI is running a business and needs to make money but, smart pricing means big bank roll. Simple!
I spent money when things are a reasonable price and FYI PGI, I play quite a few F2P games and the ones that have smart pricing get my money.
