Srm6 ¿jamming?

Well, during a fight I noticed my SRM6 was firing anymore, checked and I noticed I still had 58 rounds and the weapon wasn't destroyed, but didnt fire anymore. Notice that weapon reload bar is red all the time.

I don't think SRMs are supposed to jam. There was no jamming msg like with ultras, so I'm guessing it may be a bug.

not sure if its exactly what the poll referrs to but my ssrm's have "jammed" several times over the last week where "Jammed" does not display, but the weapons refuse to fire for approx 5-10 seconds (probably seems longer than it is).

During this time movement, jumpjet fuel, everything else works fine so i dont believe its a lag issue.

Today my merc group has seen seen this phantom jam about a dozen times in various weapons (pretty much all).

i had this happen to me once as well. my 2 srm6s wouldnt fire no matter how much click mashing i did on the mouse and it displayed a non moving red cooldown bar which cost me the match.

Same. My SRM4 hit the same thing. It would appear that the messed up cooldown only applies to weapons in the same section, so my arm SRM's jammed, but my torso ones did not.

Yeah had had srm4 stuck on red perma non cooldown. I was also group firing it with an UAc 5 . Weird.

Are you sure you didn't run out of ammo for it? It goes red when out of ammo as I'm sure you are aware.

OR someone could have crit hit the SRM pod and killed it. It's possible... Rare but I have seen it happen

Nope, had ammo and full health on the torso it was on. The cool down was stuck on red.

It was just the cooldown that was red? Not the whole weapon bar?

It is possible to lose the weapon without losing the torso it was mounted in.

just had this happen to my AC20 last round. just wouldn't fire. was the start of the round, too, not much damage taken yet, got off no shots at all.

Someone was torching up some BC KGB again and not paying attention to values in the array or table.

Global vs. Local variables will get you every time when you're higher then giraffe pu$$y.

It's a bug which also affects uAC5 and I think that a hot fix is on the way.
Might affect other weapons aswell...

My ac/2s do it occasionally, usually right after a shutdown or some other event that changes the gameflow. Red cooldown bar at max, etc etc.

Founders Hunchback, AC20 jammed 3 times in 10 games.

PC systems: i2600k, gtc580, 8GB Ram, WIn 7 64bit if that helps

Gauss rifle permajam froze on my 3d phract, getting uac5 permajam too alot
