I think that the game should be able to be played by using a joystick, rather than the default keyboard and mouse. Without it, i think this game won't feel anything like Mechwarrior.

If not a joystick, at least let you be able to use a game platform controller. Example... I play Star Trek online and it can be played with an xbox controller through USB port.

I had to read this topic several times to digest what you were saying. lol. It's probably incredibly naive of me, but I never for a moment even considered that joysticks might not be supported.

That would be insanity! :blink:

The luxury I'm holding out for is TrackIR support.

My Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 is long gone. I intend to start with a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro and yes, I have heard about the calibration issues it gets after a while. I expect to have to replace it about once every 6 months due to calibration issues and I have a bad habit of wearing out the main fire button before everything else anyway. heheheh I might just buy 2 to start and keep one as a back-up.

I'm hoping to be able to combine multiple joysticks, I have pedals from a wheel, as well as two interac raider pro (basic flightstick)
