This might be a stupid question, but... once you buy a camo pattern or a camo color using MC, do you have to buy it again for every mech you want to put it on, or do you then just have access to it for all mechs having only needed to buy it once?

unfortunately not, what even worse is that you can overwrite your purchased camo and lose it even though its been paid for. There has been quite a lot of QQing over this already.

Just use the basic colors -- they only cost C-Bills and not real money.

Vanity items are the standard money-makers for F2P games. Nothing foolish about it.
