I was thinking of buying a new pc.
I am not a hardcore gamer so i was wondering what would be a pc that can play this game on medium-high while being as cheap as posible. my max budget for the hardware would be 600-650euro.

Would an a10-5800k + a hd 6670 be suficient?

Or would there be a better combination?

I live in Europe and i am going to buy at a local pc shop so please dont post newegg links.

Which country exactly, do you live in? We could then look for shops and prices there.

The A10-5800K + HD6670 would run the game for you. I wouldn't expect any good results in the high setting though.

You should be able to hit comfortable framerates, with the A10+6670 at medium settings at a standard resolution.
The big thing with the Hybrid xfire is to make the most of the integrated GPU you need fast RAM 1600MHz + (ideally higher)

You could alternatively put together something like this.

http://www.amazon.de...=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF

http://www.amazon.de...=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF

http://www.amazon.de...=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF

http://www.amazon.de...=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF

http://www.amazon.de...=A2AEWZ68B7P4J7

http://www.amazon.de...=A1X0M9U5WW1195

So all you need from here is a CD/DVD ROM, perhaps you have one you can reuse?
And a 64bit Windows 7 if you don't have this, the Windows 8 Upgrade from XP/Vista/7 is fairly cheap untill after xmas.

Ok... I don't know any price searching engines for belgium so I just looked at alternate.be. You might find cheaper offers.

I will assume that you will reuse your harddrive(s), CD/DVD-Rom and case, but I will leave some room if you need to get those as well.

GPU XFX HD7850 Core Edition @ 169,- €
CPU AMD A10-5800K @ 127,90 €
Mainboard Gigabyte GA-F2A85X-D3H (rev. 1.0) @ 89,90 €
Powersupply be quiet Pure Power CML8 430W @ 64,90 €
Memory Corsair 8 GB DDR3-1600 Kit (2x 4 GB) @ 39,99 €
Total 491,69 €

You have room for some more powerful components, for more memory, for an operating system or for the missing parts mentioned above. This setup should be able to run MWO at high in a 1080p resolution.

I am currently running an A10 5800K APU all on it's lonesome and I agree, no high settings that way. However I have the game set to 1680x1050 res, with the top 3 sliders set to medium, and everything else low / off, and I almost never go below 20fps on any map.

For me that's perfectly fine, but mileage may vary. Just thought I'd pipe up and let you know how an A10 5800K APU user's MW:O experince has been since you were asking about them.

EDIT I forgot the biggest thing about APUs. You absolutely, positvely MUST get DDR3 RAM that's 1600 or 1866. Reason why RAM is critical for an APU is that the MoBo RAM is what the Trinity GPU uses for graphics dedicated RAM, and therefore the speed / amount of RAM for your APU is CRITICAL to performance, where in CPUs it really isn't.

I cannot stress this enough - do NOT skimp on the RAM for an APU setup - you will reap handsome rewards if you pair an APU with high-speed RAM. I myself am using 2 4gb sticks of G Skill Ripjaws X Series 1866 and it is rock-solid stable, and pretty nice performance.

EDIT 2 - Also keep in mind, Crossfire / SLI is not yet enabled. For now there are only two options for APU users: Use the GPU part of the APU, or buy a video card and use it for GPU. You can't do both, and there's no indication of when that will be added.

I'll refrain from guessing when it will be available, because I don't have a huge amount of faith in PGI these days.

Isn't the whole point of the A10 APU that you dont need to buy a discrete graphics card? If your gunna buy a discrete card why not buy a different cpu?

You could exchange the Processor, Mainboard and Memory of the components I listed above with this upgrade package:
http://www.alternate..._-_8GB/967743/?

You would only need to get the graphic card and power supply and you'd save some money.

Keep in mind, APUs can be crossfired. Once that is done the GPU part of the APU stops using MoBo RAM, and starts using the GPU RAM on your video card. Currently the chips are asymetrical - the APU is a 7660, but at best can crossfire with a 6670. This isn't... optimal. Although to be fair, reviewers say the setup is stable and yeilds good performance boost. Even so, I will only look into crossfire with Richland in the first half of next year, Kaveri in the second half - all depending on what those two can crossfire with.

Richland, aka "Trinity 2.0", will supposedly be a Radeon HD 8000 series, so it's a decent bet it will still crossfire asymetrically with 7000s - although it's remotely possible it will be symetrical since the Radeon HD series GPUs might be out by then. If the Richland has 8000, then it's extremely likely that Kaveri will as well, but in Kaveri's case it's more likely than Richland to be able to crossfire with a Radeon HD 8000 series. I really hope so, as I look forward to using that setup - sounds like an excellent platform to me, and was part of my decision to buy in to APUs with Trinity in the first place.
