as to damage. so, breaking 600 with missiles is an achievement? i can do that with a 3m cicada equipped with only 4 medium lasers with regularity, and my framerate is frequently crap in brawl range right now. hells i only have basic proficiencies on this thing, and was doing it before i even got them unlocked. one can oops i did it again with a ddc shotgun brawl setup for 900 with regularity.
base rush and base sneak online(now with accidental brawling melees) is getting old. need to put some calliope turrets on em that only activate when your team is off the cap or something.

I have been doing an avg of 600-1100 on a fighting win and 150-600 on a losing fight.
not counting if was base rush and no mechs were killed or just a scout or two.
requires teamwork and a can do attitude.

If they don't modify its abilities, there is no way ECMs dwindle. There is too much "goodness" wrapped up in such a small package. With ECM, lag-shield, speed and a small hit box... the hyenas would be idiots to willingly give it up.

I'm actually playing with one other guy and i guess now you're going to tell me that somehow makes my argument invalid.
As the vast majority of 8 man games I've played since the patch involve going up against like 6 ECM Atlases and 2 ECM Streak Commandos I would say, yes.

If youre not, and sill unable to cope with ECM your team is hopeless.
We are able to cope with it... just not with LRMs.... why would you bring LRMs if you're up against 8 ECM mechs?

ECM is powerful but with a well balanced team you can still rock them with it.

It's really hit or miss.

So LRMs should only be balanced with 8 man games in mind then?

For sure it's a gamble... Plus you have have to rely on someone to you know, TAG and hold....

Now, I would say that's a valid question. I would answer yes. Pandering to the lowest common denominator never leads to greatness. But I am thinking now, with the upcoming drop tonnage limits and TAG range extension, this problem might solve itself.
