Also, we should probably move to pin this, or bump it at least. That way newbies with an interest in the faction have the info readily available.

If that were written on a recruiting poster, they would have a new problem; lack of battlemechs to give to their new badass legions of volunteers.

Alright, so another great house who isnt crazy (Liao), or absolute douchebags (Marik and Kurita are a toss up there)

Actually, there are only 2 SCANDINAVIAN countries, Sweden and Norway, because even tho people say Denmark also, it is not scandinavian as it's not in the SCANDINAVIAN peninsula. Both Finland and Denmark (and Iceland) belong to NORDIC countries.

(and we Finns always fight that we are scandinavian, too, because there is a stretch of. 50-100 square kilometers (?) of our land on the peninsula.

I'm sure that all of the houses have lists of mechs, but as we get deeper into community warefare, that might influence my decision on what mechs to buy if I can't use some - HALF - of them in my faction. Mechs are a sizable investment. It wouldn't be that hard to lable the mechs as... FRR, Steiener, etc.

Very good write up. FRR has a compelling story.
