No, we the "real" community want to know "why" you DCM Zeus think its P2W when nothing but the detail of the cooling pod is out? Did you get a reading done by Miss Kleeo or something?

This poll is about CONSUMABLES, MODERATORS, not just COOLING.

Dont destroy data and a thread because you guys are getting backlash on the forums. It's not like we're going to forget that they were ever there. It makes you guys look like weak ********, scrambling to cover up legitimate questions and discussion about your terrible decisions.

SO AGAIN. DO WE WANT CONSUMABLES IN MW:O?

They are going to have to learn the hard way. When you prevent your community from discussing topics the gaming media eventually speaks for them.

More interested in seeing how PGI react to that feedback after we get some live playtesting and data.

Players will in general; **** the bed over anything that they just don't know about.

At the end of the day, in considering the economics of the game, IGP and PGI should also consider the negative publicity that been regarded as a P2W title brings. If it's not too severe, then they can probably take the hit. If it is as severe as golden ammo; they might well be trading short term revenue from a few callously apathetic (and loaded) players for a more stable user base.

Also, they'll be driving away the 'purity of F2P' customers with more overt actions like this.

The most obvious response/solution if this does start to go south is simply to make all three tiers available for purchase with Cbills and MC.

even if any of it was avaliable for MC. it would be pay to win.
u are buying something to use in game.

how difficult is it to understand why that is P2W

Heh, the forum is much more fun than the game is apparently. When can I buy different skins for it using MC?

That's false, the game will be in beta forever, so that means well known review sites won't be able to say anything.

The part that kills me is that they killed several of the poll threads. The statistical proof that the majority of people are outraged and the "Everything is gonna be fine" crowd is in the minority this time around. The way I see it keep the Shetstorm raging and visible from space and maybe just maybe someone important will look down.

Forum polls are proof now :P

Ok so I have been busy as **** and I just now hear about this new consumable drama and the forum mods decide to merge the threads discussing it into one while I'm in the middle of getting caught up with the drama. (in many different threads) WTF I AM SO LOST.

You guys just derailed this entire thread by combining differernt OP's opinions into one mega thread and now any person not caught up has to sift through this mess? a;sdkjghasd;gja;lsdkgh;asjkldhga

2 flushes are better than 1, even if they're smaller flushes.
in order to make MC flush EQUAL to c-bill flush, they made it only take one module slot.

this is the trade.

one module slot vs 2 flushes.

flavor.

hero mechs have hardpoints unique to them.
some might argue that some hero mechs are better than some other mechs of their chassis.
some might argue that some hero mechs are worse than some other mechs in their chassis.
these minor imbalances are let slide by the community by large.
we accept that hero mechs are not P2W.

one module slot vs 2 flushes

flavor.

i see there are plenty of forum goers active today who feel that one module slot is preferrable over 2 flushes. i welcome them to spend as much real money as they want on flushes. it makes no difference to me.
because i feel that 2 flushes would be more beneficial than a module slot.
but really, i doubt i'll ever equip a flush. maybe once in a while i might use one. but it would definitely be the c-bill variety. not worth spending real money on.

flavor.

air\artillery strikes

also think about all the other possibilities

all the modules they can release in the future?

maybe eventually every slot will count in a big way when there are a bunch of strong actives and passives to pick from

Make sure you add "Total heat"
and
"ONE TIME USE PER GAME"
and
"MUST BE REPURCHASED"
and
"CAN ONLY EQUIP CB COOLANT FLUSH, OR MC. NOT BOTH AT THE SAME TIME"

Everyone busting off their rockers to rage sure has got me worked up...

If 2 small flushes are better than one big flush, why not make all the flushes purchasable with c-bills?

If something is introduced which, within literally minutes of its announcement, causes the forums to explode in rage and bewilderment, the solution probably isn't in closing and merging threads into an utterly unreadable mess.

We don't want a whole lot here. We want to hear from the Devs what their thoughts on this are. We want to hear whether they believe that the MC modules are objectively better than the MC ones: We want to hear why they believe that.

You can't drop a bombshell this big and hide behind excessive moderation (not saying that's what you're actually doing, but it sure feels like it). The problem isn't going to go away by itself: Not on what seems to be a fundamental break with your previous position of avoiding P2W like the plague.
