Unfortunately, when you merge posts polls are lost. As I am just getting home and jumping into the thick of things, I am unsure who merged everything. I have a suspicion it was someone who was unaware of that merge issue. Again, I cannot confirm it as of now, sorry.

Sorry the polls got merged-deleted. I agree, they were great statistical data. I voted No to as many as I could (on my phone no less).

Cheers.

Wasn't this just on like page 113? I have no idea anymore...

No we don't

Actually yeah, the community does. One of the polls that was deleted had hundreds of responses, with a full 75% firmly against this implementation of coolant flush.

It's not a saving grace - those two uses are 15% one use and 20% another use, not 15%+20% twice per match.

Actually they are saying that the c-bill modules will have two uses per match. So if you take the 20% module, you will get two uses at 20%. If you take the 15%, you will get two uses at 15%. If you equip both, you will get two uses at 35%.

Quote

The C-Bill Purchased Coolant Flush will allow a player to trigger a coolant flush twice during a match.

They are not talking about when you bring the two of them. If you bring just one of the c-bill modules, you will get two flushes with it at whichever % the module offers.

Quote

Summary:
The C-Bill and MC purchased coolant flushes [will] both max out at 35%.
The C-Bill version of coolant flushes will allow 2 uses during a match. (One cools 15%, the other cools 20%).
The C-Bill version of coolant flushes will required 2 module slots to cool 35%, whereas the MC version will only require 1 module slot.

So for the first line, it'll take both c-bill modules stacked to get the 35% coolant flush that the mc module does.

For the second line, the c-bill modules (even if you bring just one) will offer two flushes per match. The part in brackets is simply stating, although reduntantly, what each c-bill module cools at.

The last line is stating that if you stack the two c-bill modules, you will get two flushes at 35% vs the mc module's one time flush at 35%.

And what the **** just happened.

I dont want to have to spend money every game to stay competitive. Im happy buying paint , camo and new mechs with mc but something like coolant is not cool unless its 1 off purchase that you can use once per game.

who do we complain to about overzealous mods?

Support@mwomercs.com is your best bet. It goes directly to IGP Customer service.

Alternatively, you can also go to the Moderators personal Forum page and Hit the REPORT button in the bottom right hand. This also works, however, the moderator in question might see the REPORT. They will not be allowed to act on it, however, some individuals would rather not have their report seen.

Either way will get your REPORT into the proper hands.

Cheers.

It's a balanced feature. Seriously, I don't understand the meltdown over this.

I can either:

1) Use MC then have a single use option that takes up one slot. If my mech has limited slots, I still need to make choices about my consumables. If I don't run hot, this is a good option for me.

2) Use C-Bills. I have 2 (smaller) flushes that I can use in two helpful situations. If you are in need of slots, maybe your weapons load out is not optimal for your mech if you get that hot that often. That's your own fault.

This reasoning works the same for air strikes, increased speed, care bear spawning. It doesn't give a huge tactical advantage.

Now if PGI had given paid buffs across all weapons that never go away, that's P2W.

WHat we need is a community representative who can make official polls and relay our concerns up the chain. This way we wont get 10k polls that ask the same thing worded 10 ways.

I shall dub this community event the "Flushocaust." (Word-sandwich between Coolant Flush and Holocaust, inb4 somebody takes this post too seriously; we all are disgusted by the WWII version of the event).
