Going to do my part and post it on PC gamers facebook and any other sight like ten ton hammer.

You can submit articles to a lot of gaming news sites or at least e-mail them with links and information. P2W is a pretty hot button issue and is probably news worthy. Perhaps though a release from the devs will put this all to rest. At the moment though I'm looking at the new arma 3 alpha opening up tomorrow. Looks pretty sexy actually. Also my wife is a professional writer and sending an article into a gaming news source is something cool for her resume, just need to wait and see what the official response is first obviously. Don't want to write something half-cocked.

No no, you have two modules with the C-Bill version. One is 20% and one is 15%, totals at 35%. Yes you can use them at different times, or all at once, but it still totals at 35%, the same as the MC version.

I know, but that's still two flushes. I prefer that than one massive flush that ends up useless, I use at the wrong time, and something that costs real money. lol.

Posting in here feels pointless, but...

Why do people say they'd prefer two smaller flushes to one big one? Why would anyone use a coolant flush when they're not hot enough to need the large one?

Because I will use them at the oppertune time , when I need that shot, but know I would shutdown. Meaning I don't have to override (but I still could do that for another strike if I wanted.).

I can do that twice with the cbill version, and only once with the MC one.

So to me,

Advantage on coolant in a match = Cbill version.

Advantage on modules in match = MC version.

I don't understand. How do two flushes "keep you lower on heat"? Why would using the large module make you hooped if you miss, but not the small/medium?

You're making no sense.

He thinks Paul's clarification was that the c-bill modules each gave 2 flushes, but he didn't read it carefully enough (I don't blame him, its written really odd. Paul is mixing plurals with singulars).

"The c-bill one" is Paul's weird way of referring to the combined system of both c-bill modules. And that would make sense with the rest of the sentence, as it costs you an extra module slot to get the extra flush.

2 flushes for 2 modules. 1 flush per module. Not 2 per module. 1.

I read it fine. FOR **** SAKES. You guys need everything spelled out for you word for word. And even yet, even though it was already by Paul, the whole forum explodes into 100 threads about QQ and PTW bs.

There is not enough information to prove me wrong, or vice versa. That's the point.

I prefer the CB version of coolant flush. *eats his own cookie*
I am under assumption that a single use CB would be the equivalent to MC consumable. but really, we don't know yet, so there's no way you can prove me wrong. and there's no way I can prove otherwise, but that's the point. Everyone's losing it for no reason.

Have you even read Paul's post? Or looked at his graphics? Both are very clear about it.

Or are you just trying to find a way out without admitting your misunderstanding?

Btw, in case it hasn't been said, I think we all appreciate you taking the time to talk with us about it, in spite of your colleagues failing to do so and PGI's poor decisionmaking every time something like this happens

Returning to the regularly scheduled forum riot now

No worries man. People are mad, its understandable. A little Raging is good for the soul sometimes...

The hate spewed at PGI for the merges is misplaced, that should be directed at the Moderators and Customer Service.

The "PGI doesn't care" posts are also misplaced, however, I can understand how it must feel right now. I know that's not the case, and I suspect most do as well, however, it's understandable that people are angry and feel betrayed. A little patience and understanding of our fellow Mechpilots goes a long way.
PGI has changed it's plans several times in response to community feedback, let's hope this is one of them. It's not always immediate, and some of the changes are still in the works (this stuff does take time) but I , personally, will give PGI the benefit of the doubt for now.

Cheers.

Crazy thought: Use the heat-reducing module only when you have high heat. Then it won't be useless.

Not quite. Arma 3 goes into alpha tomorrow!

The thread wasn't a complete waste or express impotent rage. Someone expressed the idea of passing the information on to gaming news sites such as Mittani or Gamasutra.

Admittedly there are two sides to every story. However at this point it's a release of a p2w mechanic and the idea that it's going to be the only one ever is just.... silly.

ARMA3!!! 500+ hours in ARMA2.. can't wait until tomorrow.

And so my post is not Off topic.

No to coolant flush.

Cheers.
