Those are some real nice words you have there, but I don't think they mean anything. Do you have any sources to prove that a male pinup is emasculating? As a straight male, I can understand why I might laugh at a cheesecake photo of a guy, but I don't think I can carry my logic over to the viewpoint of a straight woman.
You're a long way from home. You're in a war and you might die the next time you go into battle. It seems perfectly reasonable that you'd want to look at a drawing or photo of someone you find sexually attractive, regardless of gender or how battle hardened you are.
Of course, that is only from a canon perspective. From a non canon perspective, we've got coconut monkeys, Nvidia fairies in bustiers, and santa atlas's as cockpit flair. If you are going to include cheesecake photos of women, you might as well appeal to the rest of your market and put some guys in there for those who want them. It can only make PGI more money, and if you don't want a sexy fireman in your cockpit, you are free to choose Betty Page instead.
recently i have read a book where it said, that male pinups are 99% bought by woman to gift them to their friends to make a joke for a birthday and by *** people.
Also regarding to this book a woman (by 'a woman' the majority is meant, i am sure there are other individuals out there) would not think about looking at an attractive guy when in war, because her brain would be busy with all kinds of other stuff all the time, so it just doesn't have time to be wasted for sexual animation in any way.
On the other hand... which average woman would go to war?
that said.. i am only posting to keep this thread up so the devs see it

As a BTW; nose art wasn't about the sex appeal or the 'my art is prettiest'. It was about heart. A fella went through the time and trouble of nose art not to identify his bird but because he loved it. You jumped in and flew right into the gates of Hell in this plane, you wanted it to know you cared. You wanted it to care. You wanted your girl (the aircraft) to get home in the smallest number of pieces. That meant you made it home too. If time was measured by heart rate, these guys would come to spend half their lives in these planes. They all had mechanical quirks (anyone in a mechanized relationship would call it personality) and all had names. Nose art gave them faces.
That's what pinups on warbirds was about.

As you can see from my sig WWII - Korean War pin ups and nose art is some thing I would love to have in the game. Not just as a cockpit decoration. I want nose art on my mechs torso.

The last thing I want to hear is some immature banter in the (ALL) chat stating how badly they want to act out their sexual fantasies on any given mech that has a pinup.
I would have to disagree with this.

In other words you want the game to be ruled by what an ill mannered pubescent with deep seated sexuality problems might say?

And you're perfectly okay with childish behavior in the chat over this?
In that case, I don't know why you're not pushing for full nudity PlayBoy pinups on the exterior of mechs.

How in the hell do you get that? I'm an adult and I understand that dumbass kids will pop up on the internet. I ignore them, and if their behavior is really that bad I report them for moderation. I fail to see how that an indicator of me wanting full frontal *********** displayed in the game? Why did you go to that extreme Do you have problems with a simple fun and a little sexy flirty pin up girl? I think this is more about you then the rest of us that think a WW2 bomber art would be rather fun to have.

I merely state my concern, and wonder why you don't go all the way with "sexy and flirty", anyone that has a taste for fine art likes a good modeled body.
And then you turn it into a bash fest. Come on now. Act like an adult and humor me, not bash me over what think is my "problem".
Nice act on going around the filter there, by the way. How... mature of you.

CounterStrike had the ability via personal TAGs once upon a time, so i fail to see why it couldn't be added to a game of this caliber. And anyways, If it's an MC buyable only ability, then it'll keep little jimmy and sally from going out and raiding their parents CC's to put up a dirty or stupid pic.
Also, as an aside, It would allow the dev's and moderators an extra monthly/weekly contest like the "snapshot" of the week thing by allowing people to submit and then throwing down with voting from the community to have that months "pin-up of the month" cockpit/ icon scheme special purchase. maybe 3-5 pin-ups interchangeable as interior posters/exterior badges.
naturally that's just my $0.02...

A thread suggesting such a feature is no reason to post pictures borderlining on being NSFW. Keep it family friendly, please.
Thanks!

I don't think *** slips qualify as NSFW, least of all on this here board of all places
We need pin-ups of elementals.

There would be dimensions in which you could pay for the frame to mount on your Mech and then pay for a per-update the frame with a custom graphic (choosing the pinup girl or photo you wanted) that matched a set dimension.
ie:
Picture Frame - X MC. This takes up the slot in the cockpit for a standing object. You can select the Portrait mode or Landscape mode.
Decal Update - X MC. This allows you to update an object that supports custom decals (like the Picture Frame) with a graphic of your choice. There would be 'optimal dimensions' to ensure a quality fit, depending on your orientation of the design, but it would then import into the item and be there for you in game.

ALSO, for the beautiful SG i belive that, so long as they have cloth covering or other things that do not allow one to view thier most beautiful bits, i would assume that it is safe for war.
