OK, again, sorry if it all looks cheesy, but this graphic goes on the TT rules (since we don't know actual numbers from PGI). The weapons are color coded, heat (flame icon) is relative to the hottest weapon. The icons on the right on top are the crit slots and below it is the tonnage. The width of the bars is the weapon's length (even though PGI said that they may go further at reduced efficiency on some weapons) and the thickness of the bars signifies the weapon's damage potential.

Hope it proves useful.

Only recommendation would be to add short/medium/long range, add a number for damage to each entry, and include beyond max range rules (forget the exact name, however it's been stated you will have the long range engagement rules in MWO somewhere)

This chart is really good for visualising the differences, and the legend is easy to understand when you're familiar, but it might need an actual legend as well so noobs can use it :P

At the actual size I wanted to post, the website was doing a resize on the image. And usually this isn't an issue; but the website's resizing algorithm is pathetic, significantly reducing the readability of the graphic. Even with what you see, I had to scale down the image about 25%.

The ranges all look good, but I am seriously wondering as to what the tonnage, damage and heat will actually be.

Meduim laser for example..

MW4 Damage is 1.2
Heat is 0.6

Tonnage and crits are the same,

TT Damage is 5
Heat is 3

That's a lot of difference, and it makes the medium laser a pathetic weapon in MW4 compared to TT.

There are more differences, with more weapons. I just wanna see the numbers.

Hope this is on the right track, don't want to derail your thread. :P

Deviant Art might be a suitable work around? Either way it's a handy little chart.

Well I denoted that these are not the numbers from MWO, since we don't have that information. When those numbers get released, I might build a quick web app that pulls the numbers live from PGI (if they offer a web service) and makes the info graphic above on the fly and up to date with real numbers.

You're going to need to make another one. You don't have the PPC minimum range. Or why do you have LRM minimum range?

To my knowledge, PPC damage performance is degraded <90m, but since we have no confirmation of how much, I couldn't make a stab at it. Russ stated in a video that LRM's have a minimum 200M range, so I was able to represent that in the graphic.

Thanks for the graphics Aegis.
This illustrates my point about range of ACs (back in March)
The AC2 has a 180 m over AC5 which has ONLY a 90 m advantage over AC10 which has a 180 m advantage over the AC20.

If the AC5 had the "regular" 180 m advantage over the AC10 (and hence the AC2 to 810 m), it could be more useful than what it is currently.

Then why is your age listed as 22? Embarrassed to be playing with "toys" at the ripe old age of 37?

Pardon me, I was judging based off of the typical theme of people saying "You kids" and actually being pretty young themselves. And a mis glance at seeing you're profile views and the age unknown.

still don't refer to us as kids, its somewhat annoying and degrading. I don't think a kid could piece together what Aegis just made.
