Mwo Needs A Pug Only Mode

MM based on tonnage would help a lot, I get way too many matches with Atlai matched against Awesomes, but my point of view is based on being an experienced pubbie that can usually win in a fair fight. Skill based matchmaking will come eventually, just have to suck it up and endure until it gets here.

Until a person gets a chance to do what they need to do, learn, earn cbills, is is assinign to have people lumped into groups with custom builts. There is no, and I repeat no incentive to stay in a game you get ur butt whooped 8 or 10 matches. Makes your grind longer and boring to stomped every match.
I did a lil trial yesterday, I dropped 15 times, first thing I looked for was ecm, guess way, 9 out of 15 matches my team had no ecm at all, all trial mechs, while I counted no less than 4 on the other side. If anyone dropped thats reading this with me yesterday can remember me asking any ecm, answer NO, I said FFS again......no place for trial mechs in that environment at all. Over powered and over matched. The funny part, 4 of those matches I never saw a shot fired, LOL. People did base rushes under ecm cover, and I think that ruins the game totally.
Stats based is all good, if they can implement that system, hell they cant even get tonage drops right, how do you expect them to implement a stats based system that will work? I think its easier to make options trial only, custom only, or trial and custom....let people chose where to go. Only people that hate that idea are the ones that are pretty much farming noobs for experiance and cbills in the custom mechs in my opinion, yah few exceptions to that rule.

The vast majority of premade players do not want this which is why we get abuse for asking for it. Why do the premades not want this? Well it's because they love PUG stomping, why else would they object?
Think about it, premade players should not give a toss either way as they only play 8 v 8 against other "Good players" Yet they troll every single thread that asks for PUG only matches. It's because they are not "Good players" They are **** players that require team m8's to bail them out time and time again on the battlefield:
"HELP HELP E3 GUYS I NEED URGENT HELP E3 AM BEING KILLED BY A GUY IN A TRIAL MECH HELP HELP"
Yep this is the REAL reason that every thread asking for pug v pug is trolled by premade clan players, pathetic. This is also why IMO the best MWO players are indeed the lone wolf players, we don't need to have our arses wiped by our buddies every other game.

As for trial only areas, sure some vet players can jump into mechs and farm, but less incentive due to fact no xp earned, and at least the mechs are on even footing and gives the new players a better chance than what they have now, or they can redo the trial mechs as they incorperate new systesm such as ecms, that would be better than what they have now. Custom builts getting overall advantage with new systems, while trial mechs fight, crappy builds and loads of heat.
I stick to my view, trial area only, cut the roflmao stomping, give new players a fair chance....stats based system way to far off for us to consider and I would love to see the unique player stats for the servers, I bet it is dropping off fast, and without those people to funnel money into the system, well the game will die. So pgi needs to do the right thing, more noob friendly environment, or they will lose what small new customer base they have.

No, it's because we are getting frustrated with PGI having to cater to 'least common denominator' types who seem to think MWO needs the online equivalent of Obamaphones and ruin the game further for the majority of us.

Hahahaha... wow really? So premade's are pathetic because they actually utilize teamwork in a team based game?
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind at all if PUGs had a PUG only queue but the reason why you get alot of responses is the sheer number of threads with numerous excuses from PUGs of why not having it is somehow destroying the game. From the Premade boogeyman to PUGs calling for PGI's head and a rebellion against the company/game until they got what they wanted.
You say you can't team up.... then fine thats your choice to make. But you seem not to be able to live with your own choice knowing that it would cause you to be disadvantaged. You basically want PGI to cater just to your crowd and waste time/delay their goal of a rating based system (which would benefit EVERYONE) just to develop your own little playground with your own rules because you refuse to use whats currently available...thats what makes people pissed at these threads.
You somehow accuse all premades of only wanting to PUGstomp which is so far from reality. If lonewolfs were that good we wouldn't get a constant stream of threads of lonewolfs complaining even after they got Phase 1. Your argument could also be easily flipped against you.... that you yourself can't hang against the teamwork of premades so you're demanding that you never have to play with them because you just can't hang. Seems like you want to do a little PUGstomp of your own without ever crossing paths with alot of the higher skilled players because you know your decision to not want to team up puts you at a disadvantage in a team based game.
Just because people took advantage of the ability to team... the same choice which is available to EVERYONE, doesn't make them pathetic. What sane person wouldn't want more reliable teammates in a team based game if they had the choice?
Your mentality of "we don't need to have our arses wiped by our buddies every other game" is exactly why PUGS get stomped by people using teamwork. This isn't COD where your pride of being a Rambo will allow you to be the best. No matter how good you think you are.... good teamwork from a group of players will always trump you. Contrary to what you think... the people stomping you aren't even full clans most of the time... its PUGS like yourself who just decided to go on TS3 and get some teamwork together. So don't make them out to be like some group of super players who just decided to teamup to bully PUGs... they're no different from you other than the fact that they made the decision to want reliable teammates.

I think you'll find a match mode for the majority of the players of the game is probably quite pressing.

i disagree, community warfare for the important players easily trumps pugmode.
