Stats of this game are pretty much useless. They are mostly your profile stats such as how much MC you currently have.
Only game play stats are the general win/loss ratio which as such is useless as everyone playing solo will have something a bit under 50% and those teaming up will have something above 50%. K/D-ratio is a bit more informative on how good is your aim, but since its a general K/D-ratio it wont help you choose what mech is treating you good for the moment.
Right now Id say you are better off not looking at the stats and playing with what feels the most fun.

I do kind of agree with you mainly about the general stats that are available, but it would be nice to know my personal hit % when choosing a weapon.

And where exactly do you do that? My profile on the webpage has no information (including stuff I actually entered when signing up) and I cannot seem to access my profile anywhere in the game client.
Edit: Nevermind. Found it! The little sub tabs are a silly way of making the site navigate (in their present form that is; they aren't nearly visible enough). I think PGI would be well served by changing that.

Look at the top of this webpage. Click "PROFILE" then on the lower level (the bar with white text), click on "STATS". From there you can see in Brown text.
- BASE STATS
- MECH STATS
- WEAPON STATS
- PILOT MODULE STATS
- MAP STATS
- GAMEMODE STATS

Since that post is old, I should point out that currently players can see stats like these mediocre ones below (judging by the numbers we recently had a stat wipe in regards to the mech stats. Many of those mechs I have run a lot more in just the past 5 months than what it says).

His quote was made back in December, this thread got necroed. I generally respect you as a player so I'm not going to harrangue you here but back when he posted what he said was true.
Only saw the date on the last post so I thought this was new. I usually don't look at dates.

Someone actually went and dug up an old thread. Kudos! Sometimes that is easier than making a brand new one to find the same info. *Throws a like at people who dug this up recently.*

I always wondered that. But I never felt the need to check it out or even ask how. I play for fun and for the team (and C-bills!). KDR is for absolute bellends.
