So what do you guys think of the new MechCommander style game for the ipad?

I think it's great but not a comparison to the real pc games. I am just happy to have a game that is similar to MechCommander. Even if it is a pretty simple one. The voice acting is reasonably good, the cinematics are nice too. The gameplay does look a little cheesy but hey it's an ipad game, not a pc game.

If it was not just for the Ipad I would play it.

Is it turn based or real time like mech commander?

I agree it's too bad the game is just for ipad...but as long as I have an ipad, I'm taking advantage of it!
I like the graphics, they're different from the original but still really cool.

Looks like some old school fun, would be nice to have it on android.

Oh I remember hearing about this, had no idea that it was out. That's some bad marketing right there since a lot of the big sites would probably focus on a Battletech title for at least one article.

Oh well shall do my part to keep the battletech dream alive on all platforms.

I'd even buy a new MechAssault game if there was one ;D
