I recently reinstalled the game to fix some issues that have been around since closed beta for me, but unfortunately for me, I forgot to same my configuration files. To make things worse, the closed beta forum topic that conatined the sample XML code is no longer up.

There is this thread which lists the "defaultPlayer.XML" file, but that doesn't make my throttle work properly. I have to move my slider all the way back to go forwards and I can't go backward at all.

I was hoping somebody could help me get my slider configured. (It's the only part of the joystick I use, as I use the mouse for aiming.) I want it to be able to make me stop when it's somewhere near the center, make me go forward when pushed forward, and backward when pushed backward.

Maybe I just need to alter the code a little bit?

Greetings, I had to do some digging, but here is a guide from Paul himself.

You're welcome.

There are so many posts about it, it's very difficult to find.
