Why Is The Paint System So Boring?

I think its a mix between not having enough colors to play with and only having 3 places to actually place the colors that is the problem. In AC you could really customize the paint job by being able to paint many different spots on the mech. Maybe PGI should pick up any of the Armored Core games and see what a good engaging paint system feels like. Then start marketing colors from a real life miniature brand of paints and start selling us paints by the jar with x uses instead of this one time pay to spray which is not very engaging.

This will likely involve a much finer, more detailed approach regarding exact placement, colour, and content of applied decals.

There were hints that when CW is in, and each House has it's own merit points (House Rep), there would be cosmetic rewards/purchases to spend that house rep on.

I did not hear anyone being all impatient or anything. I think you heard what you wanted to so you could say ffs. I just wanted to point out how it would be more fun to me, obviously in the future, when they update it, to make it better

I'm going to guess 1000 to 2000 MC ($5 to $10) to buy a decal, you can apply it to one mech, and it will only go where they put it, not where you want it. And it will be an additional 250MC ($1.39) to pick a color for it (assuming a single color decal)... unless it has 3 colors in which case you'll pay 750MC ($4.17) to pick all three colors. And if you ever want to change it in any way, you'll have to pay that all over again.
I've lost faith that they will price anything reasonably.

We are constructively discussing things to hope for and how we would like to see it.

Topic on thread isn't looking for constructive discussion, it's a QQ title. And if that was the true intent, it would be in the suggestion forum, because I'm sure that forum gets a ton more traffic from the Devs than this one does.
Nice try though Sparky.

+1 Anything Armored Core. Of course, they've had generations of games to figure this out. To this day there's no Mech Combat game that gets a garage right like Armored Core.
My dream is still an Armored Core MMO or VS game. Can you imagine Planetside 2 but in ACs? Please FSM, make this wish come true.
