Read this: http://au.pc.ign.com.../1021438p1.html

I loved them too, but the unseen are gone. Get over it.

PS: I played almost every game in the BT universe for the last 18 years. I still play TT and I can talk hours about the subject - don't call me ignorant.

Who said anything about the unseen? I don't care for the unseen. It is the reseen that I want. Which is convenient, because the reseen are legal. It is folly to argue otherwise, and is a position that can ultimately only be held from a position of ignorance: Reseen minis are produced for BattleTech and were even produced for ClickWarrior, TRO: Project Phoenix is still being printed, and TRO: 3039 features the Reseen silhouettes. No legal action was taken because of those, nor could they. There is absolutely no logical, legal, or otherwise rational reason to conclude that the Reseen can be lumped in with the Unseen as a legally-murky ground.

The only possible reason I can think of for why you do not think the Reseen will be... Seen, is because they have not been in a video game since the Reseen were introduced. Nor should there be, as there has not been a video game set in the BattleTech Universe produced since the Reseen were introduced!

I deleted my vote after reading "no Reseen Mechs here, so forget about it." That means this poll isn't serious.

Please read HERE (internal link) if you have been lead to believe that Reseen Mechs are banned from MW:O for any reason...

If it's the Star League variant, then I'd definitely pick Flashman, otherwise I'd go with Orion. With a 375XL, double heatsinks, a heavy armor load, and besides the AMS a comprehensive energy weapon payload, why would you not pick the Flashman. Worried about that XL engine? The speed and extra armor of the Flashman should cover that weakness adequately. Worried about punch? Three large lasers and 5 medium lasers is a lot of firepower that won't stop because of ammo concerns. There are few non-clan heavy designs I would pick over this one.

1: It didn't show up until the late 3050's early 3060's
2: It's a clan mech.

I went with the Grasshopper. It's a solid, versatile design that can threaten most mechs inside or outside of it's weight class and can take one hell of a beating. Really though, every mech on that list is pretty dangerous.

Since Aleksandr Kerensky and Theodore Kurita both piloted the same Orion, I can fit one in my DropShip

as much as I like the rat a tat of the Jagermech, the Orion is more iconic.

I want the Jagermech. Long range (longer than LRMs in the case of the AC/2) direct fire is something we haven't really seen fully supported yet. We have all of the medium/short range brawlers and then the Catapult for long range support. I want this pingy AC sniper. Plus you never get to see it in games.

Second choice - The Grasshopper.

Most people who want these mechs (specially Warhammer and Marauder) in the game (me included) are asking for the unseen design. It's how we got to know them - how we felt in love for them. Adding these mechs with the reseen look is for some "no point" and for others just insulting.

Damn, if is the name Warhammer you want, you can name your tunned Jagermech as Warhammer.

I love to play with a Grasshopper, but don't you think we need a heavy mech with real firepower?

Voted for the Guillotine - I think it's a solid design with great visuals - I'm sure the devs could produce a really great looking one for the game. I'd also be very happy with the Orion (seems to be the current favourite) or the Black Knight - which would make an excellent 'command mech'.

Never got the appeal of the Jagermech - I suppose it was decent in one of the MW games - it was horrible in TT. I sincerly hope it's not the quickdraw - I hate that mech with a passion!

I went with the Cataphract as it's a fairly good design with a decent amount of firepower and armor. Since we've got a missle boat (Catapult), and PPC boat (Awesome) we could always do with an autocannon boat (Jagermech). Just can't bring myself to vote for the Orion as the weapon layout no longer matches the drawing of mech.

Jagermech was horrible in TT because ACs2 and ACs5 are terrible in TT. If the devs increase a little the rate of fire of these weapons, I think Jagermech could be a very good sniper.

Why do you hate the Quickdraw? It's not too different from the Grasshopper...

The Dev's already held votes for all mech types they are currently considering that they haven't already internally confirmed/denied.

search 'heavy mech' etc and look for a post by garth.

Please note; as in the case of the cicada/dervish, they may not go with the poll results anyways.
