One being 85 tons and the other 90 tons neither fix the tonnage of the Atlas or the awesome so in terms of pilot mastery for these two mech in what mech category do they fall?

Thanks

I mean what group do they use for pilot skills in the pilot lab.

If I get pilot xp in an Atlas that doesn't transfer to the awesome group. I jhave to buy 3 mech from each group to get all the pilots skills.

Since the two mentioned mechs tonnage doesn't fit either group I;m wondering if they have group of their own?

... Each mech will get its own category. Under the Assault section.

How are you a legendary founder and don't know this?

All 4 are Assault mechs.

And each will be their own category for Efficiencies.

Weight class in this case means "80 to 100" tons.

Well some are unique and can only be bought with MC - I wasn't sure if these were those unique ones or if they were rolling all a whole new group for them.

According to the Commanders Chair the stalker is out on the 18th - is that still the case?

Yep theyre all Assault mechs.

Highlander is a lighter Atlas with Jumpjets

Stalker is a heavier/slower Awesome-9M with more weapon hardpoints.

Interesting - I was thinking of buying another Atlas but if the stalker is out on the 18th I might wait.

Nope, an heavy hero mech is always an heavy. I've unlocked the Cataphracts before, now that I bought the Ilya as soon as I completed the basics, they doubled because I already have unlocked master on the other 3 chassis.

Atles

Also, 80t and up is assault class. Why would they be anything else?

The Highlander really stands for its name.

It goes high.
And it lands. On you.

Right but pilot mastery in atlas mechs does not transfer over to awesome mechs and they are both assaults mechs. I was just wondering if they are rolling out 3+ variants of the Stalker mechs or not.

Waidaminit, what?

Are you saying if I fully Elite three Atles, and then Elite one Awesome, then that Awesome will not have the Master slot available?

As in, all FOUR Elite skills bought on THREE Atlas variants, and all FOUR Elite skills bought on at least one Awesome.

Yes it will. I only elited one variant of each medium mech, that unlocked master for all of them.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding how the pilot skills work then.

If I get to master in 3 atlas mechs and I buy one awesome I will be able to get to master pilot skill level without buying another awesome?

unfortunately, no. You'll still have to unlock elite with 3 Awesome variants. But you won't have to unlock the yellow perks, only the blue ones.

Ok.

So on the 18th a group of stalker mechs are released and I'll need to buy 3 to get master pilots skills in them, yes?

Yeah. But from the looks of it the Stalker is just inferior to the Awesome-9M in most ways. Mainly because the Stalker wont be able to use all its weapon hardpoints efficiently without true double heatsinks.
