The raven is 7 mill and the other (cicada) costs almost the same.

Do you want to play with 25 ton mech or 35 or 40? What weapons you like to play most? Missiles? Lasers? Why not both? (raven 3L)

BTW whats the proper usage and loadout for the commando?

Well yeah. There are at the moment only 4 mechs with ECM. Only the commando costs below the 4 mill. Proper usage and loadout well... what do you prefer? For example, when you go buy a car, what do you want the car to do? Same with the mechs. For the commando, I guess, you put Streak SRMs on it but thats all i can say cause i dont play commando.

2D commando has only 1 energy hardpoint. The real strength of the mech comes in it's missiles.

Load don't matter, it's a mat for a Jenner to wipe its feet on.

Well, it's up to you, but to get the fullest out of the Commando, you're going to have to save up for an XL engine, anyway, so I would wait and get the Cicada, if I were you

That being said, I run the Commando with SSRMs, and love it.

I personally don't put much stock into the Commando. Experience has shown that in serious fights the Commando can't take enough fire to really have an impact. The 3x SSRM2 make it a powerful anti-light weapon but if the enemy runs ECM themselves you can quickly be shut down. I advise looking at the Raven or Cicada. They're not as good at pure light killing but mount a lot more armor and can be configured to pack a punch.

This is true, but I prefer streaks atm due to bad netcode lag... so I focus on trying to find and kill their ECM
