i don't know much about mechwarrior or it's backstory, but from what i've seen, the whole thing is a spin off from a game for the original xbox, and maybe a few other platfor'ms, called mechassault. personally, i like the idea and think it should include, if it doesn't already, the "Battle Armor" concept from "mechasault 2: Lone wolf" that you start that game with. if this, or something very similar, is included, that would be epic, because that's mainly the only thing i played through the game with.

No, Mechassault is a (very bad) spin off of Mechwarrior which is a spin off of Battletech. Battlearmor is not planned currently and won't ever be useable by players. The game is being developed as 'Mech on 'Mech combat.

Battlearmor does not do HALF the things it could in Mechassault.
