I'm having a great blast with MWO, but this game could be so much better. MWO has so much more potential.
I think PGI should get some inspirations from some other games (nothing wrong with that).

Two things that I saw in other gamesn recently, where I wished they where in MWO.

A friend of mine is in the Hawken beta (I myself am not very intersted in that game) and I saw him play it.
The one thing I was really impressed with where the graphics FX. Really great and something like a cracked cockpit glass or dirt on it is just amasing for the imersion.

The other thing I saw was in Planetside 2.
Their campaign mode is just amazing A neverending match/war where the teritorries can change anytime.
You also really fell like a part of your faction constantly fighting to gain/defend teritorries.
I know that MWO is a complete different game to PS2 and that the PS2 campaign mode would not work in MWO, but it would be great if we could see PGI implementing something similar to that in the future.
Let us fight over some planets and let us be able to properly join or fight for a House.

Now both these are just suggestions. And they are really both suggestions for something down the line.
Right now PGI has more urgent issues to fix, but I would really like to see MWO properly evolve into something much bigger than it is now.

I really agree with this , but i think PGI really limted their options by using the Cry engine 3. when i first heard of a mechwarrior mmo , i was thinking huge innerstellar maps where you go to a planet and get "dropped" into the planet actually via drop ships. or at least some kind of 2d star map where you choose what planet you actually go to . something that mixed a bit of old mw single player games into a mmo setting . not that I'm totally dissapointed , i do like what they have , but to me it just feels like the multiplayer sections of previous mech games.not an expansive battle tech universe , but cry tech's cry engine 3 , can only do some much , and it was not made for that kind of mmo set up. it would probably suck hard at doing a mmo of that style too. game engines like tools are made for a specific kind of task and some things one game engine just can't do, while another game engine was built for that. That said , one day i would like to see the idea in my head, become a real game. but i wouldnt expect the ammount of "mech detail" to go into such a game as what they have here.

I agree CryEngine3 might have not been the best choise, but I think it would still be possible to implement some kind of campaign mode with it.
Lets hope it will happen someday.

Though the CryEngine3 can produce some nice graphics. Both Crysis 3 and Star Citizen look very impressive.

Wow I get so tired of reading crap by all the people think they know it all. Also the political correct crap of giving the cry babies what they want. Think of all the people here that actually were living when games were first made on comps. The game was it noone to cry to. Missle command, my favorite. All you babies just shut up play the game as it is quit belly aching whine whine stop THE ORIGINAL online MPBT had 2500 people online fighting constantly holding planets for their house or a merc group being payed to hold the land for the next team to take a better stronghold position to move on. THat was fun, noone bitched about the mechs we used what we were good at died all the time but we got better learning the game by fighting and dying to better players. YOU learn from doing bunch of little tiny crying babies JUST fighti and learn from your mistakes like many of us from the past. Seems that opening up this game just brought in the sorse of our population to fkit all up. IF YOU CANT PLAY THEN LEAVE the REST to play and enjoy all you fk whining BABIES please leave the game so we can have some peace

what f----ing planet are you from ? can you not read the heading for the forum section ...here's a hint this forum section is called SUGGESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no one here said they didn't like the game, they just make suggestions on how it could be so much more the same as EVERY post in this section. so ask me the guy whining about hearing suggestions (that's you ), is the only cry baby i see on here.

it's not being cry babies to actually make suggestions that is what this forum section is for , if you want peice away from this kind of stuff then DON"T VISIT THE SUGGESTIONS SECTION.
