I always assumed it was "Razzle-Hog"...but I don't actually know

Necro alert!

I just found a "PronounceWiki" with lots of pronunciation samples, and most make it a 4-syllable word.
Unfortunately, they didn't have any samples in Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish... But several samples in Dutch.

The name has nothing to do with "The Hague". Rasalhague is a star named by Arab astronomers.

Rasalhague is a Romanization of the Arab name raʼs al-ḥawwāʼ (“head of the serpent collector").
(The original spelling is رأس الحواء and I was tempted to say we should ask an Arab how to pronounce it,
but we're interested because of the Space Vikings that supposedly moved there.)

It’s in the constellation Ophiuchus, which ancient Greek and Arab astronomers both thought looked like a guy carrying a snake.

...And the Free Rasalhague Republic has a serpent on its flag. Coincidence?

Course in real life "The Hague" is pronounced "heyg" and the FRR and the country which is ruled by the Hague share many roots; I guess I'm on the fence.

course...in real life the country which is ruled by "the Hague" is the Netherlands and they call it "Den Haag" so they are not much concerned by the way you pronounce "the hague"and they don't have that many roots with the finnish/swedish/norwegian roots of FRR...except being the tallest and coolest people in the world
