The Bane 3 Variant is my favorite of all Assault Mechs. You know how many IS scum you could send crying to the forums with 8 lrm-15s with no minimum range? It would be glorious.

Fire Falcon or Dasher are another two light mechs that might be good

Mad Cat and Daishi!!! Greatest fire support teaming I knew when you needed a heavy and assault and were limited on dropship tonage or overall number of mechs for the mission. The pair worked so well that upkeep was cheap and omnipoint armament meant unlimited weapon possibilities.

The original version of GBL had a few IS mechs in it which were available through Instant Action, this was removed in the Titanium version.

I don't really like Clan Mechs. I don't know why everyone does. I pretty much like IS Mechs across the board more than Clan ones. When a Clan faction is added, I'll be staying with the Federated Commonwealth(Steiner/Davion Alliance) and killing all the kiddies in their fancy Madcats and Vultures.
