Pug matches are a bit of a mess atm with teams running all ECM, the odds of getting random ECM mechs is patchy at best and non-ECM mechs have no counters to ECM (other than blindly killing them).

This unbalanced scenario leads to unbalanced feedback, players are experiencing matches where its ECM vs no ECM etc so a lot of the feedback is purely negative, but only because the teams themselves are unbalanced and people attribute it to ECM instead.

I'm proposing all trial mechs have ECM. Just nailgun it to the side of the existing trial configs for testing purposes if you want players to really get a feel for it. I'm sure weight/crit/space requirements can take a backseat since trial mechs are pretty under geared as is.
