Hey guys, I love what you're doing here.

By "love" I mean "am inordinately repulsed by" and "doing here" I mean "defending the cultural standards by which forcible sexual assault is normalized by the community at large."

The accused (because I can't say their name because of name and shame whatever that means) made threats of sexual-based violence within the game, repeatedly, with literally no provocation (not as if provocation excuses these actions.) Had this occurred face to face, the authorities could, with reason, get involved. This needs to end. This may be a game about violent combat robots, but it is only a game. It needs to be a place where people feel safe to engage in gameplay without harassment.
